0MMR is a joke. No matter the matchup matchmaking gives you, you should never have to play with 100% risk and literal 0 reward.
Yeah thats a poor system, much like World of Warcrafts in the past. You essentially are forced to stream snipe higher MMR players just for elo.
Welcome to my entiar GM career as a conquest main. It is so easy to get a team which messes up and takes 400 MMR away and demotes you down 2 ranks (As in number position eg. 22 -> 20th place in the rank) and get 1 or none MMR point.
It's like this in a lot of games with ranked because the playlists are so dead sometimes. In rocket league you could play someone who hasn't played a lot of 1v1 just for that season so their mmr is low and if you lose, you lose 4x the mmr you would have got if you won. It's absurd

What was the good part? I honestly don't see it. The discordia was worse than most I see on conquest, like 10x worse. He missed a majority of his kit, and a majority of his 2s, which has a giaaaant hitbox

It's not a 1500 deficit it's a "whatever substats boots have" deficit and by endgame it saves u money but yeah for sure a deficit well played that discordia was legit too

@@Leoj305 the player was real garbage. This game was only "competitive" for two reasons: Garbage builds from both, and the terrible potion start. Losing 40 power early on is horrible. 40 power is a lot early on.

I would say that you were not only caught up after First Blood, but you were actually ahead, since you had two full items, whereas he had one full item and boots

Sam, I feel like a cool idea would be a counter building tutorial, just looking at some strong builds and how to counter them
What made you get the kill towards the latter stages was finally get your defense item so that you can take damage. Before that you were too squishy with useless sustain. Juking ofc was a big part but without defense he just had to hit you with something. He had pure cooldown and defense and no pen, so defense just completely shut him down.

Why everyone underestimates executioner lately...
He doesn't build executioner because the attack speed would be wasted with mercs 2. Titan's is just a better item overall for merc
@@Methusalute learn that at 100 physical protections titans bane does 22.5% penetration and executioner does 36% .
@@DimKanGr you need to hit 3 autos for executioner to work, and merc is a one punch type of god, plus the flat 30 pen from toxic blade+asi makes more sense against someone with 1 defensive item. then stacking two % pen items like titans and exe... Executionner literally makes no sense here.

At 100 prot , exe reduces it to 74 prot and flat penetration reduces it even more ofc. Also the statement that if he has only one defence item you dont need percentage pen, i am not sure about it bro. The closer you get the enemy to 0 defences the closer your damage gets to become true damage( which means the damage you do without mitigation practically)

ForbiddenAsinus always stay in the minion waves, as soon as you get rekt, just eat a minion and if you see you can’t win the fight, jump out of it (never use you jump if you cannot secure a kill). Always use your ult as soon as you can, remember that the circle Bakasura’s makes in his ult doesn’t let your opponent to jump when they are in the circle, use that to your advantage and as soon as they get out of the circle and try to escape (using their jump), use your jump and stick to them like a mosquito
If you STILL can’t win any fights then just give up to the honor duels and farm until late game, it’s the ultimate Bakasura strat

if you do math its like this:
18.100 Gold that Discordia has to earn to get to her Full Build with Speedpot and Boots selled
14.450 Gold that Mercury has to earn to get to his Full Build and he doesn't even have to sell a Starter item nor his Boots.
so you're literally 3.650 Gold ahead + you get a Red Potion before she's even full build lmao.
with boots and starter item u would literally need to earn about 1 full item of Gold more than with your Start, Sam.
which in total means: You were always ahead with Gold with your start.

except boots are fucking op and your basics will hit around 30% more than speed pot level 5, which means more kills and farm
@@taquitolayton68 Yes, but on Mercury this Start is kind of OP if you think about it, Mercury doesn't really loose that much Damage in the beginning with that Speed Pot cause of his Passive, ofc he still suffers a bit of damage but as u could see: Sam still cleared his camp pretty fast and he just had to stay for a wave and then back for a Tier1 item + Mana Potion and he was back in the game and once he had Golden Blade he was technicly "Ahead" if u wanna do your own math.
yeah why would you want to hit for ±30% less w pot compared to boots power spike just to save 100g early which you easily get back by a first blood, or worst case scenario, clearing a wave quicker and going for a buff
Maths helps but the only good thing about this is surprise factor unless you wanna play farmville for 30 minutes while you get your other items against a Discordia
@@taquitolayton68 that's the thing, once he had Golden Blade online he could clear Camp's fast enough to not fall ridiciously behind and he most likely just had to keep his gold even with Discordia and his Level even with Discordia and if you're able to do that you're most likely not going to loose this game, ofc i can understand that u wouldn't do that and go for a more "safe" strat like buyin boots and going into Attacker's Blessing (which in my eyes is still the better option ofc. cause if u get first blooded and fall behind with the level you won't really do shit in that state) but if you're able to not get first blooded and simply keep up with the gold and level, you're mathematicly ahead (3.000 Gold) and once it get's to late game, you're full build while your enemy still has to sell something and earn more gold to get to the final state of the build. (i'm not sayin this is a strat evry merc should do, cause not evryone has the skill to pull it off, but im still in the believe that you could pull it off more times than one would think and even make this meta for mercury, once you've figured out what to build to increase the gold difference even more)
If you really think about it it’s not a horrible option, I know it sounds crazy but if you make it out of the esrly stages you are going to have the late build faster, plus Merc gains damage with movement speed so I would actually like to try this myself😂

I feel like each individual item was justified to be built at the time, but it culminated to you having 125 power by the time you had 4 items. I think if you try this again, you need a power spike sooner.

Well, if you think about it. Y oh're only losing 20 power and 25% attack speed if u went Ninja Tabi, or just 40 power if you went Warrior Tabi. You're buying boots, just without the stats, only movement speed.
Nice video. But you keep saying you are setting yourself back by 1500 due to buying the speed pot - i don't quite get that? Since the pot gives you the speed part of boots, comparing that to item stats you're more like 7-800 behind - and then making up for that since you can go into item 6 early. But it essentially only gets you to final build 550 gold early.
