@homeslicehenry thanks so much for the shoutcast. People who are wondering how to deal with tapu fini, well it's tough but not impossible. I have had some wins against tapu fini teams. Off course no team is perfect. My idea behind building this team was to have mons with cheap charge moves (still decent hitting), giving edge in energy and time management.
The CMP sac swap and Terror of Shadow Charzard at that moment was some of the best game play I’ve seen in a while. Unbelievable. Very impressive indeed. I’m not sure I’ll ever be at that level. That was awesome!!!
Amazing Gameplay footage of what its like to be at the top rankings, most people just do not really expect these kinds of play because its such a big risk they take but when executed it just goes to show how gamechanging it is. Another underused mechanic is the Double CMP, where your pokemon must win against the opponent in a CMP Tie -> Opponents turn -> Your move again. Only works when you have 2 moves ready and rapid tap the charge move during that small window frame before it goes to your opponents turn where they use a charge move, very underrated but it does put them into a double shield scenario or forced to not be able to sac swap/catch.
This is why sometimes i don't get why higher rank mons are better if it requires them to have low attack and most likely lose CMP... Especially in mirror matches.
Shadow Dragonite might be the best pokemon in the Ultra League because when you don't have hard answer for it, you don't have any answer for it and by the time you knock it out, your team is just completely devastated... I just love Shadow Dragonite 💙
@@josephmother2659 I run it on the lead with answers to Steelix and Charmers/Ice types in the back... so like Swampert, Venusaur, Cobalion, Skeledirge, Lapras... I like to invest into the Dragonite so in Jellicent matchup I'll just call/shield the 1st move, throw and then either farm down or go for another shield and move so either it will be 1-2 or 0-1 on shields... that's how I personally like to play (weird going down on shield intentionally but it works for me)
Have you ever done a trio in any league where you're forced to use Pokemon starting with the same first letter? Example: Mewtwo, Metagross, Mamoswine for the Master League. It would be interesting to go through as much of the alphabet as you can. And to see which "letter" team is the most dominant.
Dude, a lot of teams are weak to electric, i am running a spice that you would love: cresselia, shadow ampharos (safe switch with ZAP Cannon and brutal swing) and electvire with Ice punch and wild charge
Okay this team looked fire, so i started up my game looking for the mons. Got a r26 shadow zard, r50 shadow dnite and r900 shiny cobalion. 500k dust and 2 elite tms later i build this exact team and went 5-0 in my first set! Big love and shoutout to the creator and the showcaser 😘
Wild that there were no Tapu Fini facing the team. I tried the team out today and went decently positive, but Fini leads were interesting to try to play around. Lots of Fini and Future Sight Cress making my life harder than it might have been otherwise.
Thank you Homeslice! Without watching your video, I couldn't have put an end to his winning streak today and achieved a rank of 3510+ 😄. Your commentary as well as this player's exceptional catch skills were impressive!
Yeah idk can't decide, the normal is like level 3 rn was a CP 64 Charmander, prob the shadow just cus it's already double moved tmed and gl CP, just got a better gl one
I battled this person on a down pair, but dubwool Wc and clef g weezy clutched. Close battle but 1 shield clef full health put in the work. Plus the clutch wc on cobalion on helped lol..
it's just rng. all teams have a core breaker. You just had bad luck with your set. If you stuck with the team, you might find better success. Get out of here with you easy mode nonsense 😆@@TMB-uc1rs
Tapu is definitely tough, it relies on an overload strategy, basically that tapu can't 1v3. Ideally safe swapping coba will cause most tapus to stay in, and tapu leads are often weak to zard in the back.

Great battles!
Ggs in our battles! You played great and not throwing onto my catch was for sure the win con. I’m Firestar btw lol
I played one set and 3 aurorus lead, how to deal with that!?! I can't even see their 3rd mon! thanks
Those were some flawless battles! Congrats!
@@yochou562 elos are all different higher up u barley see that
17 game win streak at this ELO is wild, and with plays like the CMP sac at 13:02 I am not surprised!! Awesome team and gameplay
Che went absolute beast mode 💪

I was today years old when I learned that Charizard wins CMP over Dragonite in UL 😮
Nah,I have deliberately forced CMPs against Charizard a lot of times in the UL and have won it every single time.
Specifically his attack weight zard wins cmp vs high rank dragonite!
@@HomeSliceHenrySpot-on!!I run a 15 attack S.Dragonite for this very reason haha.
@@askmeanything2892same i didn't even won any CMP ties lmai😂

Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS battles! Insane gameplay, precise energy management. Now THIS is what I call content! 🔥
That CMP sac swap for the win had some of us viewers going “oooooweeeee”

Me failing to use shadow dragonite: 😔

Golduck golbat golurk gl
It's not the team.. it's the player 😄
Bit of both, I'd say!
I came up against Chemysterious a couple days ago and he made some INSANE plays against me. Nice to see this great player featured here!

Homeslice, I've been following your channel since you just started on YT. Your videos are always so much fun to watch. Please keep up the great work.
Thanks for the support!
Wow wow wow. The best shadow Charizard use ever. And with Shadow Dragonite and Coballion what a team. Love it.

I would appreciate this trainer as he is sooo skillful as he can close the game with all these 3 pokemon... Nice one
Masterful gameplay for sure!
I want to try out this team, my charizard is non shadow though. Will that still work out great?
It should, yes!
I can't decide if I should build a normal rank 2 yard or a more attack weighted shadow yard I built for the gl before getting a better one
Tough call, both are super good. They just play slightly differently
Yeah idk can't decide, the normal is like level 3 rn was a CP 64 Charmander, prob the shadow just cus it's already double moved tmed and gl CP, just got a better gl one
Is this team too good or the user damn good?
Btw what does he do against a fini lead?
Fini would be very tough, safe swap coballion, hope they stay in
saw this team a dozen times today and won running aggron staraptor incineroar
Saw this on zyoniks channel lol, now going to watch it here for your commentary
no wonder he's at 3500+ , very precise gameplay
A very strong team, especially if tapu fini isn’t around
Dodge the tapu and you are set 🤝
Chem the homie! I tried this team myself the other day. Very fun until the tapu fini pulls up
❤
I've been seeing shadow dragonite everywhere in the 2400s. Last night I faced 3 on the lead in a row.
It's very strong!
I battled this person on a down pair, but dubwool Wc and clef g weezy clutched. Close battle but 1 shield clef full health put in the work. Plus the clutch wc on cobalion on helped lol..
Nice!
2:24 difinitely opponent lagged as charizard idk never wins cmp over dragonite only ivs is the cases but most cases dragonite wins
With his attack weight zard, it wins cmp vs high rank dragonite! It's iv dependent
When did they ban Tapu Fini and Ampharos of the game ?
Lol fini definitely tough for this team! Luckily both coba and shadow dnite do well into amp
Next-to-final match was absolutely CRACKED!
That cmp sac was WILD
Ultra league remix has to be brought back. Its unplayable in its current format with charizard and swampert
This is a team I really want to build. I have the Shadow Dragonair and stuff, but stardust. And, Charizard has two legacy moves so 🤷
It's worked well for me! Tried it myself for 2 sets and went 10-0 🔥
8:37 bummer to fire star. Great gameplay for sure
Very close game!
I’ve been running haxorus, goon, zard and it’s been money
Hax is such a fun mon!
Can't wait to run into this team and destroy it!
amazing gameplay!
Same battle being showcase by zyonik
Omg babe wake up henry uploaded! Grab the popcorn!
🙏
Who ever thought buffing wing attack was a good idea is stupid. It’s way to overpowered now
Zionk covered this game play aswell 😅
This is why Shadow zard is the best sweeper in the League!
It's so strong!
Same from zyonik video😂
Cobalion is a cheat code lmao
What gameplay. Clockwork
Man all these team did is cost me 200,000 stardust and 5 straight losses bc every single opponent had tapu fini. Not a great team in my mind.
This trainer must have an easy mode account to not see a single tapu fini. Absolutely no play against it
