Well, you can erase graphite pencil after you've painted over it in watercolour. Tip from my art teacher...unless the paint was yellow or certain shades of red, in that case...bye bye painting lol

for flipping the canvas on traditional art, i usually take a picture of the drawing and flip the picture. that way you can compare it side by side with the original drawing without having to constantly hold it up to a mirror
Those character prompts (similar to the first) I find really helpful! I often want to draw but I don't know what to draw so I have about 10-15 new ones saved on my device at all times so I can just open one and watch it. But, they can get very messy, so it's always fun to experiment and try to balance it out!
Yeah they are fun! As a traditional artist I always like finding challenges because they’re hard for me and I can put a lot of thought into like the coloring, shading, etc so yeah I also find them helpful 😁

It also sounds a bit demonic).

A tip for any traditional artist is to take a picture of your drawing and then go to edit and flip (Mirror) the picture, it’s like flipping the canvas on digital, I always do this since I have trouble doing the eyes 😅
Or use the method Sam always says of covering up one of the eyes and imagining where the other one should be, then when you remove your hand you can see if it looks off :D
