- Heading south, driving about 60 miles from central Tokyo, you will hit a coastal city called Miura, a popular spot with a great fishing harbor/market where you can get delicious, fresh tuna. This is where Shin Mukai of TOA International (the publisher of Dune Buggies and hotVWs Magazine - yes, he’s our boss) built a new shop/warehouse. A true man cave.

So THAT is where all of the Type 3s went! 😉

Wow a step back in time. I was into T3's in the 90's and my brother has a T34 Ghia.I had a Variant, my other brother a fastback, Rev counters, pull out radio that was a transistor radio, okrasa brake booster for the 5 stud brakes. Empi bits. All the stuff Bug/Bus people missed.

Shin- hat's off to you this is an amazing and important collection you have. Regards Aaron, Adelaide (T31 1500 'S' L512, T34, T36 1500 'N' M265 L41).
Warehouse 1 had what I think is an rare panel. Just a glimpse but I wish you could have shown more of the cars and less of cardboard boxes.
If you're having trouble finding a nice type 3 I'm pretty sure this guy's got something to do with it
凄いですね
Hola desde Panamá como puedo pedir piezas para mi tipo 3 😊
Do you know where I can get a full automatic transmission. Mine just stopped going into any gear and have no idea why....
Why are nearly all the vehicles left-hand drive when Japan is right-hand drive?
🤩
I ONCE OWNED A 1969 VOLKSWAGON STATION WAGON MANUAL TRANS WITH THE PANCAKE ENGINE!
IT WAS A NEAT CAR BUT HAD A TERRIBLE HEATER THAT GOT IT'S HEAT OFF OF THE EXHAUST MANIFOLDS WHICH RELEASED GAS FUMES INTO THE CAR.
IT UNLIKE ALLOT OF THE OTHER VLOKSWAGONS DID NOT HAVE THE GASOLINE HEATER!!
THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!
I've never seen that many square backs in the same place at the same time even at shows Looks like heaven to me I own a 69
