Best thing about this track is that it works in tangent with the scene almost perfectly. There's almost no dialogue when the episode opens just this masterpiece
Yeh I agree. Its a relatively similar chord structure. But it gave me that same feeling of impending doom when watching. That feeling of "Oh shit something is about to go down and I don't know what".
@@noverrr4508 "Impending doom", exactly. Djawadi's music always hits just right, sucks you right into the episode and all preexisting knowledge flies right out the window. I was sitting there, watching a political thriller of an episode depicting an overt coup d'état, an episode which I knew 90% of the events of before the episode even released thanks to the episode being titled "The Green Council"... and yet I ended up genuinely anxious, dreading how Viserys' passing and his final words would affect the realm, not to mention the succession. The magic of music, I tell ya.
Je crois qu’il y a un autre theme dans l’épisode si tu pourrais le jouer ça serait fabuleux, mais sinon c’est vraiment magnifique ce que tu nous proposes

In which EP did this song play?
@@MrDogan-gv2yr I could be wrong so don't take my word for it but the very beginning of episode 9

@@valaktrickster3451 if you’re talking about episode 9, the starting track was “lament”!

Reminds me of light of the seven, I love Ramin djawadis music
Musically, this is beautifully similar to the light of the seven piano arrangement from GOT.
Actually, it reminds me a lot of 'the Night King', but that is from 'the season that must not be mentioned', so maybe you don't know it.😏

And I always think of it when I hear it!

@@ilex471 By season 7 I thought "this is getting a bit silly, I'll wait for the show to finish before seeing the rest". I dodged that bullet.
