  • When you exit an insurance plan, the first thing patients notice is the change in their prophy fees. To retain as many patients as possible, you’ll want to make it a smooth transition. So this week, Sabri joins us to discuss doing this intelligently with an eye on overall practice profitability and maximizing patient retention.

90th percentile multiple practice owner here successfully dropped Delta here, not too long ago so I forgot. To shame in incorrect some of the statements that were made on this podcast.
    1. If you are over 70% in you UCR fee schedule there’s absolutely no way in the world that Delta premiere is going to be close to if he schedule. In fact, I am pretty sure that it is going to be a 40% haircut at 70% tile and 60% air test if you are in the 90th percentile like me.
    2. Delta, sending you 60% of all the checks after you go out of network with them is simply not true. My Delta receivable, when we were in network, was about $1.7 million a year. I can assure you, that this point, and, we have been out of network with them completely for about, three years now, we only received about 15% of all the money directly from Delta.
