Thanks for sharing. Very interesting analysis and it showed me a different perspective.
I did an analysis on CMG, CAVA, BROS, and SHAK back in November. (I am not a youtuber.)
I compared their revenue growth, profit margin, and PS (or PE if any), and consistency in growth.
I really loved CAVA, but it was simply (and still is) way way way too expensive.
I think Shak was too expensive also.
So, I ended up buying BROS & CMG.
BROS shot up more than 50% afterwards after a good earning report and I am happy.
CMG has not moved much.
May be I will buy CAVA too (cuz I really like it, just hesitating because it is so expensive.)
Cmg still has a lot of growth ahead they are opening 3000 more stores
@damatricrayton8942 I'm thinking the same with cava....they only have like 350 stores right now. That's why I think it's priced so high
Caught Cava at IPO gonna hold
Holding as well 1,700 shares.
Thank you very much Professor, I enjoyed your analysis and academic thinking and communication to those of us in the learning stage. I listen everyday including the weekend . Merry Christmas!
You rock! Thanks for all the hard work! Keep it up, you’re doing great things.
Thank you! Will do!
Was waiting for it prof, let’s get it❤❤
Thank you Parkev, I already have a nice position in CMG even before the split , My entire incom tax return will be going to Cava in a few months, watching for the dip.
Meanwhile my cava profit will go towards my tax bill, gotta make sure I fund programs that I dont qualify for!
Can you do an updated video on low cost good stocks to buy that might have high growth next year
Thank you for your valuable videos. Would you please analyze POWL?
I’ve purchased 4 shares last week to just hold long term!
too expensive... an analyst calculated that based on current market cap and the # of restaurants, each CAVA restaurant is worth 4.7million... (Now, of course, that calculation is not serious but just to show how expensive the stock is as it does not include Goodwill etc. and new ones opening into the calculation. 4.7 million for each CAVA?
An analyst calculated that at current market cap, each CAVA is worth 47 million USD!
Professor, do you think Tencent Holdings is a growth stock?
The stock market is definitely picking up pace right now, but I still think investors should be careful at this time. I'm actually a newbie in this space, so I'm open to hearing other investors' take on this, esp whilst entering a new year
Just sold both. lol. Needed to add to tech. But I’ll buy back
CAVA is too expensive. It's probably a good time to sell and then wait for a cheaper price to buy back.
Sweet green next?
Friend working in Cava recommended me not to buy at this stage, with inflation picking up, the growth is not sustainable, you have to consider the heads winds they are going to face next year, just one year of positive cashflow doesn’t mean anything
What do you think about Alphabet Google's new chip?
Breakthroughs from R&D is something I was counting on when placing Alphabet as my top-rated stock. The company has demonstrated effective investment of capital over decades.
@JackMa-z5e Willow: there is still a long long way to commercialization, if it ever does. Google made grade stride in alpha protein years ago, but it was never commercialized. It just contributed to the advance of scientific research. Then years ago, it came up with that Mission Impissible glasses. Again, it was never commercialized, but it was used to help a few children with special needs.
Whereas NVDA works aggressively with the pharmaceutical industry to use AI to speed up drug discovery (which can be monetized).
So, if you are thinking about if Willow will drive revenue growth, ah... no for quite a long while... and not before Trump retires. This is more of a prototype from the research lab rather than products to be commercialized for big $$$. But if you are asking if Google is contributing to the world, then yes.
Google does have its own chip TPU. Nothing new, it has been running for years. But when Google published its benchmark data, it was comparing its next-generation chip with NVDA that has already been massed produced and deployed widely, not with NVDA's next-generation chip.
So, is NVDA in trouble? No.
Are Google's chips being used? Yes, in it's own cloud (in addition to NVDA's). Also, Apple was training its AI using Google's chips on Google's cloud. But that can change any time, of course, as the landscape is filled with competition.
Bottom line, multiple competitors will arise from this AI revolution. Just like the cloud business, it saves AMZN, MSFT, and is becoming an increasing important force for Google. Not everyone needs to ride a Lamborghini to everywhere he goes.
