Gordale Beck

Welcome to the second part of a project that started out with a walk from the village of Malham in the Yorkhire Dales.
It would be surprisingly easy to overlook Gordale Beck due to its close proximity to Gordale Scar - a location that shares almost as much of an iconic status as Malham Cove.
I've long been fascinated by the idea of finding lesser-known subjects in the shadow of greater ones. That isn't because I feel any particular compulsion to shun the popular 'pot-boilers', but because I just happen to believe there's a wealth of untapped, fresh subject matter out there just waiting to be discovered.
