Although the nova 5t isn't available in my region, looking at the specs, I can see why you are torn between the two phones. They are almost the same. But I think I'll just go for the nova 5t because I think it's going to be cheaper than the Huawei Y9s. The nova 5t has the faster processor too but no 3.5mm audio jack. They both have the same LCS IPS display but the Y9s has the bigger display and full screen. This is tough but I'll just go for the cheaper device if I was you.

I don't think it's dangerous. It retracts when it is open in your pocket or when it detects a fall. Pretty good if you ask me.
