Quick question.. I’m pregnant with my first and trying to understand all these strollers/adapters. We’re getting the DuelRide Shyft. Is there only one type of Maxi-Cosi/Nuna adapter? All I’m trying to do is find the stroller(s) that the DuelRide Shyft car seat will fit in and which exact adapters. Thank you sooo much!!

Is there some kind of adapter I could put onto one of the Evenflo strollers? We are looking at getting the dualshyft for the car seat, but also getting the Evenflo Xpand stroller by them so it would be nice if we could make them connect.
I live in the Midwest where on the average winter day we could easily have a foot of snow. I can see this being super helpful when wanting to just carry the car seat in.

I have the evenflo stroller and it’s extremely heavy and my baby is still a newborn. I can only imagine how more difficult it will be as she grows more
I bought the Doona for my 1st baby and I was in love with it, but I did have the problem where he was getting too heavy so I sold it (not planning on having another baby for a few years) and I recently found out I’m having baby #2 and I just realized me being “in love” with the Doona was just “puppy love” 😅 i have found my true love and I am definitely going to purchase this one for this baby!

Ok so the one I have in the video is the GOLD which has an understorage bag (I didn't show that because you'd have to remove it to take it on and off the base and not super useful to me when I am demonstrating it, and then it also has a buckle on the chest clip called SENSORSAFE. This can be connected to an app on your phone to alert you to things like accidentally leaving the baby in the car etc. If you go cheaper then those fancier features are not on the model but the overall functionality is the same. AND YES 100% CLICKS ONTO THE VISTA with MAXI COSI adapters :D enjoy!

I think I am slightly confused but I will do my best to answer this. The seat can be just a lightweight seat, or the car seat with the wheels. You can't use the lightweight car seat on the base without the wheels being left on the base. Hopefully this clears up any confusion. Thanks!
I’m not sure if I’m imagining it because I have nervous energy cause my first is coming a few weeks, but I got the Evenflo Shyft and wanted to use it with the Cruz V2 (with the adapters), but I feel like the car seat tilts forward ever so slightly in a way that may not be the most comfortable. I plan on asking the discharge nurse or the pediatrician if the angle of the seat is problematic. I’ve scoured the internet and this is the only video that shows that the Shyft is compatible with other strollers at all, so, I don’t think enough people have tried it to either confirm or deny my experience.
@@JasonJ-16 agreed 100% and I agree asking someone with a pediatric medical background would be a very wise option. Head tilt is absolutely something to consider so I definitely would ask and applaud you for caring and checking for your kiddo.

I tried using this with the cybex gazelle travel system and also share the same concern. There is significant forward tilt with that setup as well. It looks like the baby could slip forward/right out. Did you find a single-to-double stroller option that works well with this?!
@@jessicawadeson7584I did not try anything else…a little disappointed I couldn’t easily switch between the convenient built in stroller and attaching the seat to a more comfortable stroller, but I just change baby from seat to second stroller for longer walks. I have wondered if using a second seat adapter with the alternate brand adapter would work…even considered trying other adapters just for the heck of it, but never got around to it. Short of trying to get a modified adapter 3D printed, I gave up. 😢

Is there a way to remove the car seat from the wheel base once extended into stroller mode ? I can't lift both the wheels and the seat together - I'd rather use the car seat and attach the wheels as a option to help with my back issues .. I want to use the wheels with the base but I can't lift it .. this was gifted to me at my baby shower .. and the host wasn't sure if it could detach from the wheels ??

Probably with the Maxi Cosi adapters. I have not tried it but it is fitting onto the Maxi Cosi adapters for ever other brand that I have tried it on. Great question and thanks for watching :)

@@mominshahabwe don't have information about compatibility with Evenflo strollers. We would recommend reaching out to Evenflo with questions about that.
The weight doesn’t really matter though…because there is not really ever a reason to need to carry the car seat when the wheels are attached to it. I only have had to hold it to go up an escalator.
Glad to hear the extra weight doesn't matter to you however, most customers care a GREAT DEAL about the weight of the infant seat. The Nuna Pipa Lite RX is the most popular seat I sell because it is 8 ounces lighter than the Pipa RX which is $150 cheaper and nearly identical. So again it's cool that this doesn't matter to you but it does matter a great deal to most other consumers. So much so that brands are designing car seats that are lighter and lighter because that is what people want. Again glad you like what you have but it's nice for people that don't want those additional pounds to not have to lift them from the ground into an SUV.
So this is totally reasonable concern and it is heavy. The Doona is 17 pounds with no kid in it cause the wheels are always on it. I am 5 feet five inches. The handle is 3.5 inches longer than the Doona handle height is 38 inches and this one is 41.5 at it's tallest.
