Hi David and Sarah oh that first estate sale was a totally super fantastic place to be wow oh didn't it make you feel like a kid !!! Just loved it loved the little knitter,the farmer in the dell, loved the little cup and saucers everything was a vintage paradise crazy cool!!!God Bless!!!❤️❤️❤️

So nice that the estate sale was peaceful. I am usually shoulder-to-shoulder with folks. Not fun.
One year for Hanukkah my dad got a mechanical elephant for my brother and me. When you pushed the first button the elephant walked forward. When you pushed the second button his trunk lowered (it had a magnet on it) and picked up a metal log. I loved to watch it. And how I wish I still had it. My mom was a throw-it-outer.

That was a second-hand thrill. seeing all that wonderful vintage! That bear with the phone can talk to David's bear from Thursday. Like the others, I loved the Farmer in the Dell toy. As a novice Pyrex collector, I was salivating over the green Pyrex dish with its holder. I also loved the hats. And I can relate to Cindy, who at this time in her life, just wants a stress-free time surrounded by pretty things.
The Farmer in the Dell is AMAZING! I think the display box was for thimbles. They were advertised in magazines.
I had the poetry book and used it when I first started teaching.
Love seeing how other people run their estate sales.
I've never seen those wind up toys before. The Farmer in the Dell was amazing, as was the multi-colored feather hat.

I'm curious about the Scratch and Sniff mystery, haha! Love the Dunoon mug with strawberries and ladybugs. I have a couple of their "Bug Mugs," ladybugs and caterpillars.
