Got the fork seals so I can fix the fork. But i don’t have the tools to unscrew the form cap and compress the fork spring to take it apart. Yet. Bike is on pitbull stands. Front wheel is off. Forks are off. I can almost smell the fork oil…

    Bike sounds lovely.
Track looks almost too small for that bike though.
I would love to take my RS on a track that is not too big, but not too small, for the 125.

To this point, the bike is a mess and will take focussed work to make right. 1. The r6 fork is too long and can’t be adjusted any further. 2. I have not yet made progress on the carb to get it rideable on this track. You can hear how bad it is in the long left hand carosel turn. My ultimate fix will likely be a smartcard.
Is the bike too big for this small track?! Yes and no. Gearing changes are required. Yes, it is very difficult to ride. Very much outside my comfort zone. Thisn’t fun having to learn, but based on my experience, that is the point in becoming a better rider. Do the really difficult thing until it isn’t difficult.
Awareness is important. Because being this slow does not load the tires enough to work them to the required temp. Without that, they won’t stick. That becomes a barrier. Once it is July here, that won’t matter.
My timeline is ~1.5 year to getting this where I want it, provided a fork becomes available.
