This is how we did it in the USVI. Family and friends get together and help each other. My mom always fed them a big heavy lunch. I have been living on the main land since 2000 , people don't help each other anymore. I'll be 50 in a month , trying to teach my kids, but they are on some different sh..t. . Growing up in the islands made me what I am today. Bless up, youth man.

I get to realize people don't listen. He said the place is naturally like that when u dig a foundation the soil does not have a lot of porosity to soak away the water. So if it rains it will fill up but no worries. I'm not from there but i understand what he is saying and they obviously have confidence in building and living in the area or they would not take the risk. The low porosity of the soil will actually make the foundation stronger from my experience, plus they have good building material and skills. Gwaan do your thing Pappy same God who bring u this far will bring u through to the end.

Pappy the foundation always have water did you check if it's coming from somewhere else are a just rain see tea bag and no water like that so the area is a spring then just be careful you work really hard to let things happen

Mix the concrete at a 3 and a half inch slump . You're not going to get it dry out by the 2 days. Dryer the slump, the better for the conditions

I think you have an underground spring. I don't know if this requires PVC pipes draining to daylight, a membrane or what? Get an expert opinion, Pappy so you dont have problems later. Blessings.
