    Nice.
I acquired a 71 Nova that sat 27+ years. The original owner stopped driving it because the key broke off in the switch....
I cleaned the plugs and condenser, spliced a heater hose that a rat chewed through and put in a new lock assembly..... fired right up and runs really good, even shifts out...
    350/350 2bbl 2 dr, paid $400. in total
I also have a 55 Lincoln Capri 2dr complete and original

@@deepsouthclassics9446 if you haven't already, pour an entire quart of transmission fluid equally down the intake to the cylinders, clean or replace the plugs. And let the fluid sit for several days or week. It'll soak into the metals and the carbon to help free up the engine

once you can get that front seat out., pull the door inner panel and soak the latch down from the inside. Once you get the latches out if their rusted and frozen you might consider soaking them in muratic acid, I had to do that on my 66 Chevelle that had set for 30 years, the acid did a great job rinse it in soapy water and the hit it with more penetrating oil.

I bought a 54 150 2dr last summer worse than yours. The rats had more stuff than your rats.Mine had a 1968 tag and registrations back to 1962.Once I got the doors to open.I found the orig. Title in the glovebox in 4 inches of rat stuff. The family that had it had been looking for the title 20 yrs. Or more. The rats only took one bite out of it.😄

Cool find. They still out there. Sawsall the latch pin off. Get a new pin. Check out WD detailing latest video. They had the same problem.. don't think I'd find new doors and trunk lid. I'd pore clear resin in the door holes. That's a special pateena I ever saw. Truck lid weight reduction. 1972. My old Mercedes 508 is 1972. Great number. TRex. David Bowie . Great find. I just subbed . Have a good one. Good luck..ps I owned a convertible 57 when I was 24 in England. Always luv um. Check out Don's hot rod. Nice guy. Adios. .

Thank you I will check them out and see what they done. I do like the patina myself and had thought about just patching those holes with something for now at least and save that money for getting it drivable. Thanks for watching!

@@deepsouthclassics9446 Ye Man. Needs to be revving up. The body's perfect. Pull your rocker shaft. You don't bend the push rods. Don't think I'd even try cranking it. I'd pull it and strip it. Clean and reassemble. I just pulled a 30 year garage find in Sweden. Engine Locked solid after weeks of soaking. Pulled the heads. Two cylinders locked up. Need to pull the engine. Yours didn't have a carb. Moisture got in. Check out. This and that garage. He just built one. But you can save the engine. Check out trans while it's out. Nice bit of nostalgia. Have a good one. 👍 need a few buddy around for the pull. Adios
