it doesn't get any better than this regarding scfi ambient music, play this for days on my pentium back in a day, the game ran in 8k in my mind because of this sounds, such a good game.
SW soundtrack is just PHENOMENAL. Not only the synths are super sick and have that dark Cyberpunk feel, the OST makes great use of pauses and echoes to provide excellent mood.

Ffransis James there's a remake that's almos done called "Satellite reigh" looks pretty awesome. check it out in Steam store, there's a full beta game playthrough available in early access. enjoy, i just found out about it myself
"Have a wonderful day, executive." Satellite Reign was a solid remake, but forcing they agents to walk everywhere instead of letting them use cars to move around seemed like a step backward and got really old.
It was ok, but I think the restrictions the team were working under due to copyright really hampered the feel of it. Agree on the vehicles, but that was likely part of the same problem.
does anyone have a thread I can pull or a term I can search for to find the low reverby sweeping sound that starts at around 6 seconds? heard it here, in the mech warrior 3 intro, pretty sure I heard it in the terminator movies, and just again now in a BBC audiobook production of neuromancer. it’s practically a trope sound and it’s driving me crazy that I don’t even begin to know what terms to use to search for sounds or samples like that.
i have been wanting this game since i was a child. imagine syndicate strategy gameplay and swat fps tactics, planning had a baby in the syndicate universe.

Whenever I plan a Cyberpunk tabletop session this pops up in my head. One of the best tracks composed in its genre.

Remember playing this back on the PS1, was a decent port, a bit clunky but fun as hell to get mobs following you with gats
