Dear Sir. This is an excellent Presentation , but please allow me to bring your attention to a typo and a slip of your tongue. 1st.: Your Diagram shows the Bending-Stress , left and right , same as "σ1" , whereas it should be σ1 and σ2. 2nd.: You refereed several times to "Gama" , as being the bending-stress.
Hi. Thank you for your videos. When you intridoce shear force in minute 13.00, some books assume that the sum of moments must multiply the shear force by deltax/2. Could you kindly let me know why is shear force multiplied by deltax/2?
I'm really late to the party, but I wanna ask. As far as I can see, the sigma1 formula only stays true for elastic stage of the material, so would the shear stresses formula. What'll happen if the cross-section approach the plastic stage? Will the formula change? If it does, then what is the universal way to calculate?
I Appreciate your patience for going in such depth
Thanks!!!!
Pro trick: watch series at Flixzone. I've been using them for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Lachlan Saint definitely, I've been using Flixzone} for since november myself =)
Watched may videos on this topic. But the speakers couldn't explain it with such clear concepts... Kudos to you. 👏
Thanks!
never see such a brilliant and phenomenal vidio

Thanks a lot for paying such close attention. Really appreciate bringing the errors to our attention. We will improve. :)
Gamma is bending stress but represented as sigma because it's actually an axial stress.
well done for such a good explanation
Thank you so much sir this video eliminates all my doubts about

Correct. The video on the plastic section m modulus will give you the clue as to the manner in which the formula changes

Formula is not explained properly..
@17:00 i think you meant sigma not gamma
Thank you Sir!
