When I upgraded to Revelations after doing both Conquest and Birthright I can never go back to either of them, its just too hard to do such a thing especially once you've played the Heirs of Fate DLC.

I always thought she sung "bullet blade" and thought "is this Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy?" 2) "In my ancient heart dwells madness and pride" makes lot of sense if you realise that this song was written by Anankos. 3) This would actually make a really good title song for World of Light, seeing how neither light nor darkness is good in WOL.

Azura appears next to him and they look at each other, crying tears of joy to see each other one last time and sing as loud and as passionately as they can to defeat anankos
If you love strategy games then I STRONGLY suggest playing FE!! However stick to the Casual difficulty if you do pick one up. Fates does have an option for Pheonix Mode if you're a person that very unsure of themselves at the game first. Warning though you'll grow very attached to some if not all the units so every choice counts if you want them all to not end up RIP.
Nathan Byberg For me, it is comparable to One Last You from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. If you don’t know the game, get some knowledge on it before listening to the song, you’d need it.

Anankos knew he was going mad. I can't help but wonder, did he on purpose sire Corrin with a human(Mikoto) in order to have his child stop him when he did go mad? It's the only thing I could think of even after all these years. Anankos literally put in place everything needed to put him down should he have gone mad and feral and try and destroy the world. He wrote a song that is sadly, also a double edged blade to the one singing it(You can see and tell it literally is killing/hurting Azura to use it), a shard of his dragonstone(the pendant), ect.
I've never heard Shigure's version before (doesn't help I've not played Fates yet) and I didn't know Matt Mercer could sing. I'm so glad I know now, it is heavenly. Thank you for this video.

The third of their plans they ended up keeping was mostly incest (Your romantic options: your stepsiblings, your adoptive siblings, your first cousin, some animal people. The non-options (mercifully): your adoptive parents, your actual parents, your blood sister). Granted, no guarantee that it would've been good if they managed to fit in their full plan, but just bear in mind that we got a third of the intended game and it was the *weird* third.
I know I’m a little late to this song. But it just makes me cry nowadays. My ex used to sing it to me and she had such a beautiful voice. Unfortunately, she broke up with me for reasons I can’t even tell any of you because I don’t even know myself. Guess I just weren’t good enough for her. Fates is far from a perfect game, there’s no denying that, but listening to this, thinking back to pre-release hype, remembering hearing this after beating my first ever Fire Emblem? Unmatched.

I hate that Fates’s story could’ve been made indefinitely better if we had to wait until about mid-game to resolve Corrin’s dragon-emphasized anger issues. There were a lot of other problems with it, but that change alone could’ve fixed a lot of things that were wrong with Corrin’s character in general, and maybe made things more deep.

This song will always mean alot to me. From the moment I played Fates back in 2016 till today, I still listen to it. The story was marred by the horrible localization team, sure, but you can clearly see the good foundation it had and where it was planning on going. So I understand the singer of the final part of this song is a man named Shigure? From what I understand, depending on how it's spelt in Japanese, Shigure can mean, "autumn rain."
Yeah the last part is from Heirs of Fate, a story alongside the main story where only the children of the main characters lived, and need to save the world. Shigure is Azura’s son and inherited her power of song, and thus sings Lost in Thoughts All Alone as well. Also you taught me that Japanese word, 時雨, I’m learning Japanese so that’s very interesting to me. Azura and Shigure have a theme of water to their character, so that meaning makes sense.

In truth if you actually read into the verse "you are the oceans Grey waves,destined to seek life beyond the shore just out of reach,yet the waters ever change flowing like time,the path is yours to climb" you'll realize that the songs not about corrin,azura,shigure,or anakos. It's about us the player making our choices. From who we side with in chapter 6 to wether we spare or kill Shura in conquest.the path is ours to climb and we must deal with the consequences of our choices. And it's about humanity as a whole our moods changes like the oceans waves do. At first we could be calm and smooth but at a moments notice we'll become raging and destructive. At least that's what I see in the verse. I'll probably never get confirmation but that's what I take it to mean and I feel as if it's a good point.

I entered Eorzea through the gates in front of the adventurers guild, and became a conjurer to heal my allies. I came here on my last day in these realms, and left through that same gates. I wish the adventure in real life could be just as whimsical.
I have never ever played fir emblem or watched any gameplays or cutscene edits of this game. But judging by the music, it must be really beautifull. I look forward to playing it some day when I get a console, without any spoilers.

When I played Fire emblem birthrights, I found out that I'm not actually related to Hoshido or Nhor, apparently your mom in the game was running around looking for shelter in the rain with a newborn child and so the king of Hoshido's like "Yeah you can stay here", so they soon fell in love. But Ryoma (can't exactly remember his name), Takumi, Sakura, and Hinoka were already born.
I love this song, my favorite in fire emblem, I love the game it’s from, Fates, and the character who sings it, Azura, even more, my 2nd favorites of their kind in the series, barely behind Radiant Dawn and Ike respectively. When I played Fates, I S-Supported Azura and Corrin at first chance I could, they make the perfect relationship in Fates and make Shigure and Kana brother and sister. Perfect in my eyes, and hopefully many others. Edit (8/7/2021): As of now, Three Houses blew me away with how incredible it is, it’s now my favorite FE game, Edge of Dawn is my favorite song, and Edelgard is my favorite character.

I was playing one of the Heirs of Fate DLC's, and was blown away when I realized that Shigure was singing this song as the BGM for the battle. It was epic.

Anankos knew he was going mad. I can't help but wonder, did he on purpose sire Corrin with a human(Mikoto) in order to have his child stop him when he did go mad? It's the only thing I could think of even after all these years. Anankos literally put in place everything needed to put him down should he have gone mad and feral and try and destroy the world. He wrote a song that is sadly, also a double edged blade to the one singing it(You can see and tell it literally is killing/hurting Azura to use it), a shard of his dragonstone(the pendant), ect.
I've never heard Shigure's version before (doesn't help I've not played Fates yet) and I didn't know Matt Mercer could sing.

The third of their plans they ended up keeping was mostly incest (Your romantic options: your stepsiblings, your adoptive siblings, your first cousin, some animal people. The non-options (mercifully): your adoptive parents, your actual parents, your blood sister).
Granted, no guarantee that it would've been good if they managed to fit in their full plan, but just bear in mind that we got a third of the intended game and it was the *weird* third.

I know I’m a little late to this song. But it just makes me cry nowadays. My ex used to sing it to me and she had such a beautiful voice.
Unfortunately, she broke up with me for reasons I can’t even tell any of you because I don’t even know myself. Guess I just weren’t good enough for her. Hope she’s happy wherever she is, at the very least I tried.

I hate that Fates’s story could’ve been made indefinitely better if we had to wait until about mid-game to resolve Corrin’s dragon-emphasized anger issues. There were a lot of other problems with it, but that change alone could’ve fixed a lot of things that were wrong with Corrin’s character in general, and maybe made things more deep.
I would’ve wanted that too, I want to be liked by people, but most would chose the female version anyways 😔

This song will always mean alot to me. From the moment I played Fates back in 2016 till today, I still listen to it. The story was marred by the horrible localization team, sure, but you can clearly see the good foundation it had and where it was planning on going.

So I understand the singer of the final part of this song is a man named Shigure? From what I understand, depending on how it's spelt in Japanese, Shigure can mean, "autumn rain."

Yeah the last part is from Heirs of Fate, a story alongside the main story where only the children of the main characters lived, and need to save the world. Shigure is Azura’s son and inherited her power of song, and thus sings Lost in Thoughts All Alone as well.
Also you taught me that Japanese word, 時雨, I’m learning Japanese so that’s very interesting to me. Azura and Shigure have a theme of water to their character, so that meaning makes sense.

I've owned Revelation for so long yet never heard the 3rd Verse... I've heard the first and second verses, and the 4th one a few times, but never the third...

I don't get why people don't like this song. I get it plays a lot throughout the game, but it's a good and catchy song.
In truth if you actually read into the verse "you are the oceans Grey waves,destined to seek life beyond the shore just out of reach,yet the waters ever change flowing like time,the path is yours to climb" you'll realize that the songs not about corrin,azura,shigure,or anakos. It's about us the player making our choices. From who we side with in chapter 6 to wether we spare or kill Shura in conquest.the path is ours to climb and we must deal with the consequences of our choices. And it's about humanity as a whole our moods changes like the oceans waves do. At first we could be calm and smooth but at a moments notice we'll become raging and destructive. At least that's what I see in the verse. I'll probably never get confirmation but that's what I take it to mean and I feel as if it's a good point.

I have never ever played fir emblem or watched any gameplays or cutscene edits of this game. But judging by the music, it must be really beautifull. I look forward to playing it some day when I get a console, without any spoilers.

When I played Fire emblem birthrights, I found out that I'm not actually related to Hoshido or Nhor, apparently your mom in the game was running around looking for shelter in the rain with a newborn child and so the king of Hoshido's like "Yeah you can stay here", so they soon fell in love. But Ryoma (can't exactly remember his name), Takumi, Sakura, and Hinoka were already born.

I love this song, my favorite in fire emblem, I love the game it’s from, Fates, and the character who sings it, Azura, even more, my 2nd favorites of their kind in the series, barely behind Radiant Dawn and Ike respectively.
When I played Fates, I S-Supported Azura and Corrin at first chance I could, they make the perfect relationship in Fates and make Shigure and Kana brother and sister. Perfect in my eyes, and hopefully many others.
Edit (8/7/2021): As of now, Three Houses blew me away with how incredible it is, it’s now my favorite FE game, Edge of Dawn is my favorite song, and Edelgard is my favorite character.

Except when you consider Azura is actually Corrins cousin, play hidden truths 1 and 2.
Corrin is half dragon, so i think there’s enough of a genetic difference to make this alright, especially in the Middle Ages.
