- Peugeot Partner campervan built in 3 days, with pull out sofa bed facing 2 ways, kitchen and sink. Sofa bed is held in different positions with sliding locks. The shelves with the little baskets are made from an old ikea CD storage unit. The sink is made from a 3€ kitchen bowl.The curtains hang from a bamboo stick. Built with just an electrical drill, a screw driver and a jigsaw. Nothing is attached to the van, just held in place with elastic straps.
One of the best designs for a small van I have ever seen (and I've seen hundreds). And SOOO comfortable. YESSS, it is my van and this comment is to honour my son and daughter in lawve ; ) who built it for me and did such an amazing job in just under 3 days!!!! I've already had my first van adventure and LOVED it more than I could ever have imagined. I hope this video of my super-mini-van inspires other people to go for it 😍😍😍
I had a similar van I converted but it definitely did not turn out as good as yours, proof simple is best, enjoy and have fun

There are two large boxes for storage under the bed that are not clearly shown in the video, one at the front and one at the back. And for those of you that asked, I'm sorry the bed system is not clear but it is very simple. It has two parts, the legs structure and three planks of wood joined by hinges that fold and extend like an accordion. It is pulled up by a rope in the middle piece to turn into a sofa and slides along the legs structure. It is then supported at the feet end by the fridge!

i loved this bed, i'm thinking about building my camper in a peugeot partner too, and ithis ideia is an alternative if i don't put a regular 2 seconds tent at a deck in the roof...

It hangs from a bamboo stick held in both sides by 2 little fixtures screwed into the plastic ceiling, like the ones for shower curtains but smaller. It is also tied with a string in the middle pinned to the ceiling for extra support. Very simple!

Thanks Howard, the bed is 165cm. But it could be longer if you put the front seat forward. I don't know how much longer. It's 60 cm wide 😉

Du bist wohl sehr klein, daß du aufrecht sitzen kannst. Dein Sitz scheint ja auch so 30-40 cm hoch zu sein?
