The second stage (Russia) always felt too steep for a difficulty increase. Literally just one health pickup for everyone and the other health source can be destroyed, and have to wait too much for it to spawn. Also, there's no place to run, as the level is too small and crowded. Truly the best "Battle Royale" level.
If only you knew what went on behind the scenes. Warthog was actually one of the easiest vehicles to do a deathless speedrun. If you need any tips let me know.
Really nice run, you have some skill. No Minion special use? Guessing it takes too much energy bar on Hard. Would love to see a run with Thumper. This was my first video game back in the day, played it to death. Might have to plug it back in haha
I don't remember how to use the Minion special and my playstyle doesn't really benefit from it since I tend to rely on shield/freeze, and napalm combo which can do similar damage at times. This was one of my early console games, and since I didn't know the action commands I damn near found it impossible on medium without the passwords.
@@mr.bp-dcbg I used to save level clear passwords. Could never finish in one go as I also didn't knew the cheats or even the special commands. Each level at a time with each vehicle, creating & trying different strategies against AI, & back then there was no Internet. Max I played medium difficulty since hard was too hard for me primarily because I didn't knew the special commands. I could see the AI do shit like freeze, shield but I didn't know how to.

I have been suspicious about your videos from day one ever since I heard a different soundtrack on some levels. I mean you not only beat it with everybody on hard mode, but you did it without dying and with world record breaking times for every character in a matter of 2 months. Something that should take years due to how brutal the ai is. I am not saying you are cheating, but I am having trouble buying this as a hardcore TM 2 veteran. From what I have noticed it looks like your attacks are doing way more damage than they normally would. Either you are the Twisted Metal 2 Jesus or you are cheating somehow with mods.

Another possibility is ports
