390 dollars damn, not bad at all. I was honestly expecting maybe like 150. Especially if he's sellin dvds 7 for 10. Nice to see Ivy isn't out there rippin people off. Must have been enough there to make some profit. Makes that 55 dollar store credit look like a total scam.
Bold of you to assume your collection is worth anything. The store has to make money somehow, they can't be giving you the exact amount it's worth, they won't make any money.
@@jeremyb.5889 I don't think he is personally but I think the other guy does because he got most of these for free and reviewed them and is now selling them for profit. but that's not my opinion I don't see anything wrong with what he's doing.
Cool video. Yea, those common titles are hard to get rid of. Ivy seems like he is a cool guy. I wish I didn't live on the East Coast I would love to check his store out..
Dude it just proves how 90% of the movies you buy is so generic & no need to buy them. Collectible movies & boutique label editions is where it’s at & really the only real platform where physical media exists & thrives.
There is probably over 200 DVDs at 11:00 so if you sold them all $1 a pop you'd get $200 or even at 0.50 cents a pop you'd still get $100. That is way more than the $55 that they offered you ... just saying
@Steven Lee well, like he says in the video, a garage sale would be a great example. Or craigslist, facebook market, etc. There are plenty of ways to sell local and bypass any shipping costs and keep 100% of the sale price.
Hi Brendan.Enjoyoing your Video's.I had thousands of Dvds and Blurays myself and they got totally out of control storage wise.Looking at them You know i feel so much better. My house now has more space. It was actually depressing me.My GF said this."how many Dvds do you watch in a year?" Then she said if i live to 80 i would never get round to watching them all. That was realization as i'm 51.Many of mine went to Charity Shops as many no buyers wanted.I've got 75 at last count now.I will only keep the Classics.
I was just watching this live, and right after i clicked on a video called "The Tragic Details About Goldberg From The Mighty Ducks". I saw you in that video as well, haha! did you know you're in that?
@@agfi88 Think about it, he isn't paying rent or anything and using up all the space for his shit. If you had an apartment and paying for everything, and your friend starts using your space and not paying for utility wouldn't you tell him to at least sell his shit?
I bet if you took the unsold DVDs to a goodwill they’d be picked up by cinemasickness in a few weeks
Lol
You did a great interview with ivy. He seems like a really cool guy. 👍
He seems so cool
Ivy is a cool guy me and my dad like watching storage wars glad he took your stuff bro😀😀
I ripped my dvd collection before I sold it in 2009. You could of put your favorites on a HDD.

Amoeba is the worst to sell to. They’re like, “This Blu-ray is worth $35. We can give you 15 cents.”
your hair looks good like that
Yep! I always end up walking out of there with the movies I tried to sell them.
Gamestop: there can be only one!

Ivy seems like a good dude.
i remember really liking storage wars years ago that guy seems super cool and nice.
Its crazy to think this dude spent at least 25 dollars for each of those and now is willing to sell them for nothing.
how do u know he spent 25 each? he often gets them from dollar stores and studio review copies.
