It'll be a bit tricky for me as we're selling the office. Along with many other public sector employees were becoming officeless as our employers are selling the empty buildings.
Here's a thought for discussion: If MuckVague and/or the CONgang at large and/or the Daily Fail don't want you to do it, then it's probably good for the country if you do.
So it's common sense to force people to work in a way that may not suit them or their company because it's what "they have always done". Absolutely. How terrible that work and workplaces might evolve to make them easier and more enjoyable in this terrible day and age. We can't have that! Victorian values! Work is meant to be penury. Unless you're a Tory minister of course, when you'll be compensated by huge expenses and be allowed to vent on any stupid ideas that may enter your otherwise empty head. We wouldn't want that, your head might explode and who's going to clear up the mess? Care workers? I think not. Perhaps the elderly?
Never been much of a fan of Lorraine Kelly but if she thinks McVile is a shameless and ghastly human being then I'm with her on that one. ( I bet the staff at the ONS were bemused be described as "militant")
What’s more outrageous is having a property on rent paid for by taxpayers whilst your husband has his property located a mile away on rent - effectively milking in 2 revenue streams on top 2 generous MP salaries & expenses
I haven't gone into my office since the Covid lockdown and mt life is so much better. Not having to worry about commuting means i was able to buy a house, and i don't think it's impacted my work at all.
Mind you since the remote working came into place my 39 year old neighbour has become a complete recluse, piled weight on and lost interest in his hobbies like cycling and golf, his car has been left to go to wreck and ruin, so there will be more like him, I personally think a couple of days at work for real interaction is essential for alot of people's wellbeing.
Sure - horses for courses - it suits some to work in an office. But why force others? And even more importantly: What the hell does it have to do with the govt?
@@martinburn Some people want/need to work in an office and some don't. And it is none of the govts business which way people should be allowed to work.
@@Rick-mf3gh also be careful what you wish for, most call centre and online booking and query positions as well as lower IT positions are been done by people 1000s of miles away who are able to work on a much lower salary, at the moment there is a home work security guideline for UK employee's but this could go when companies in competition look at making money through a cheaper workforce this is very much a reality possibility.
@@Rick-mf3gh be careful what you wish for, remote working means exactly that, I can see companies employing people from India etc, why pay someone £200 a day when you can employ someone for £20 a day, then you can have plenty of time at home if you've still got one, just a thought.
When she did go to her place of work, she did more damage than than if she'd stayed at home.
amen. minister of common sense intellectually outgunned by broccoli

Why rent a building, pay for electricity and Internet when you can offset that onto the employees at home..

Can we put MPs on the same wage as nurses??
Could Esther be pitching for Tory leader???? 😂🤣

Perhaps the only good thing to come out of Covid. Although, possibly also the proof that the world itself is a better place when we're not in it.
At the same time Rishi says employers need to be more flexible and find ways to enable disabled people to work.
Minister for common sense. Surely a misnomer 🤔
People should be forced not to work from home while the sick and disabled will be forced to do just that.
the people who own huge office blocks they rent are worried they will lose money.
The woman is so dense, she bends light. 😂
Imagine if Mcvile and Raab have babies.. it could cause a singularity

If I were an office building owner (as many Tories are) I would also like people not to work from home. 😂
I don't care what either of them want me to do.

Oklahoma Timothy?

Esther cares about owners of city properties.
Ahh, but do the owners of city properties care about a little nazi who bullies poor ill and vulnerable ppl..
Her hair is made of recycled Parker coat hoods.

What's wrong with that?
