Would you know what the opening music was?
I remember Benny Hill's parody of such sermonette. I'm surprised they didn't use his clip (where he played "Rev. John McFudpucker") to close down Thames one night.
I just realized that the clock shown during the sign-off/closedown at 5:35 is almost ticking to the beat of the background music.
'Sit Up & Listen'. It's not like you have a lot of choice when it's Brian Blessed.
Can't believe that's Dawn French. I remember the ad then. Anyway, I was young when I saw these JVC ads.
Early hours of Tuesday 28th June 1983
Well to recall ‘Baby Jane’ was at the first of its three weeks at the top after it was announced on a Tuesday lunchtime on BBC R1 and kicked Sting and The Police with ‘Every Breath You Take’ from the number one position.
I think some editing is required here.
I was abroad at this time.
