Roelly might have the best arms ever. Easily the best triceps, probably top 3 forearms, and though his biceps aren’t super peaky or defined, they’re quite huge and have lokg insertions

In the late 90s, there were photoshoots of that moron in flex magazine. I can't remember the topic but it was probably about how he had built his amazing triceps... People talk about the 90s as the modern golden era of bodybuilding but it was actually the start of the BS : synthol, implants, gh/insulin guts, loss of definition and separation...etc The golden era ended in 1994-95 in my opinion.
Dorian's strength in the side triceps comes from somehow managing to show nearly the entire tricep without hiding the bicep. It's like someone took pictures from every angle and stitched them together, no wonder his arms look so much better than they do in other poses
@@jordandangelo180 it's not a great joke though because some of those guys actually had decently good triceps. Flex for sure, but even Kai and Ronnie had a lot of detail on theirs and a ton of sweep

I don't plan on competing and time soon but I honestly really want to learn how to pose half as good as Mark Makoway (I know that butchered the spelling of his last name) and Shawn Ray because it's honestly just so elegant and aesthetic.
Could you do a video focusing on muscle length or insertions or whatever you want to call them? People talk about biceps tendon length from the elbow, but what about from the shoulder? Phil and Roelly seem to have forearm muscles that go halfway up the upper arm. Dorian's calves vs Cedric's?
Dorian doesn't deserve to be here. Yes he looked good in the side tricep pose but that's pretty much it. He had zero tricep sweep inner or outer. Most of the honorable mentions here have better triceps than Dorian. Hell even Ronnie had better triceps in every pose other than the side tricep.

One day my friends and me were arguing about what to chose between biceps and triceps. They took the side of triceps and me the one of biceps, and after training I found the way of triceps more huge . But I'm keeping doing biceps cause that feeling is nice 🌝
What's interesting about this list, and the honourable mentions, is the number of bodybuilders who have great triceps but who have comparatively weak backs. Roelly Winklaar, Gary Strydom, Kevin Levrone, Lee Priest, Paul Dillett, Paul De Mayo, Bertil Fox. Dorian Yates and Phil Heath are notable exceptions but I understand Phil's back was once a weak point in his early days.
I remember reading that Ernie Taylor answered that question himself, saying that there was scar tissue that he was literally having massaged out and began undertraining his tris to compensate for because judges started dinging him.
