- In this pentecost season sermon, Rev. Len Vander Zee continues our series on the Psalms by exploring the implications of Psalm 87 and Ephesians 2:11-22, focusing on the radical inclusivity of God's love. Rev. Vander Zee reflects on how the Psalm envisions all nations, even Israel’s fiercest enemies, as being "born in Zion" and included in God’s salvific plan. Drawing parallels between the ancient text and our contemporary world, we're challenged to move beyond the divisions that plague our society and embrace a vision of universal reconciliation and grace. This sermon invites us to see all people as beloved of God, with a birthright in Zion, and calls us to live out this inclusive love in our daily lives.
