Environment makes and breaks a game. For me at least in horizon 5 it much prettier and makes any car (even if its the same from horizon 4) more enjoyable to drive.
Wonder what the first expansion will bring to the table, cuz I've pretty much done all achievements except the smashable one (where you need to do 5 smashable challenges - think next one is next week). Cuz hopefully that will bring retention spans to players thinking of quitting and keep them
It would have been awesome if they would have gone more in depth with customizations, like choosing interior, seats, steering wheels, shifter, handbrake and so on. Just like in midnight club.
Quantity over "quality" has been an ongoing issue for Horizon for a while (maybe Motorsport/Forza in general). I put "quality" in quotes, because it's not like the actual 3D models, interiors, or sounds (for most) etc. are bad, but a lot of other aspects of the games suffer because of Turn 10's/PG's/Microsoft's insistence on having the biggest number. Obviously when you look at NFS games, the average unique aero options per car doesn't even compare in Forza. Inaccurate models like the BNR32 and S15 have been carried over game after game despite complaints from the community. Different trims or special editions of existing cars are plentiful, whereas actual new models are few and far between. Engine and exhaust sound has obviously improved a lot, but there are still quite a few cars that are inaccurate. That's obviously not the result of their mics being messed up when they recorded that particular car, it's because they can't record every single car and they never did record that car, and whatever car they chose to modify and recycle was a poor choice. I could go on and on, but the TLDR is that I think Forza would be better overall if the devs eased off this obsession with having the most cars and feeling some requirement to reward like 5 cars every week for multiple years. I honestly lose motivation when they make it so easy to be a billionaire and own pretty much every car you could ever want so quickly. I don't need every single SKU of Aventador that Lamborghini has released.
Exactly... I mean who would even have time to regularly drive 500+ cars... Only the popular ones will be used the most... Then again I guess they just try to appeal to more ppl by releasing more models and variants...
They are doing great the way they do. Maybe a few minor changes would be welcome but in general it’s like Forza as it should be. The huge amount of cars with interior views and forza vista modes is what made forza, Forza and they should keep holding on to it. If they would reduce the amount of cars, the game would become a downgrade just like Gran Turismo Sport. TLDR, Quality over quantity is when you can’t rice out every car innthe game and enjoy it as it is. And btw, even NfS has some copy/pasted from Payback into heat.
I’ve noticed devs are getting lazier with car lists too. All these cars are so outdated there’s no new Audi’s, BMWs, Mercedes e.t.c. For example the MK8 fiesta ST has been out since 2018 and it’s still not in the game
This is BlackPanthaa to me: He doesn't like the grind in the latest FH games, because it's repetitive and due to the reoccurring events. But contrary to that, he stated in his earlier videos that he loves grindy racing games and he plays NfS Heat and Crew 2 where he has to do the same racing events multiple times thoughout the carrer and credit grind to get all cars. In Crew 2 it's even worser. If you don't want to pay real money, you have to do the same racing events over and over again (because that's the only optimal way to get credits) to obtain your desired car. And there is no auction house where you could bypass the grind. It just makes no sense to me.
@@oscarbonollo You gotta be quick in the AH, that's true. But at least you do have the option to get it without having to grind the festival playlist. In Crew 2 and NfS Heat you have to do the 'most profitable' races to gain credits for your cars as soon as possible. Beside all that, it has been rumoured that the Backstage Pass will return to FH 5, which will open another opportunity to get rare cars.

Gordon Murray was a genius, he believed back then and still believes today that a hypercar should be the absolute pinnacle of automotive design, technology, and driver enjoyment. He and McLaren wanted a spartan car to become the fastest in the world at that time. So without the XJ220 we wouldn't probably have the F1 as he thought Jaguars car was too fat, too heavy, and of course, too slow. This is reflected in the way the Mclaren F1 is built, and the way most hypercars afterwards were built.

I want the T50 in the new Test Drive or Forza, they just need to get that engine and exhaust sound right 😊
I prefer the grind being handled this way honestly. Compared to NFS heat style where you grind like crazy for a few days then have practically nothing else to accomplish and get bored and or frustrated. I do wish there was a way to make the challenges less repetitive every week. Especially there trial needs work and I wish the other challenges would be new events or obstacles rather then one's we've already completed. I don't have the exact answer to fix it all so I'm just happy they try at all rather than releasing one update and on to the next game.

I'm not sure how the online multiplayer is now, but there was enough people still playing prior to FH5 launch to work with if interested. Great game I think. I especially prefer the visual customizations to forza and the paint and wraps as they aren't locked and you can modify or tweak things after applying it. Also you can preview any shared wrap before downloading and applying it. Forza could definitely learn a few things from them about visual customization. Just never drive the 1973 911 RSR. It'll ruin every other car in the game for you. It's stupid OP.

The Hot Wheels DLC is also what introduced that Zenvo to Horizon... Also, it's a bit understeery with AWD, so softer front/stiffer rear sway bar, more rear drive bias(I tend to run about 80 rear), and maybe either run narrower rear tires, or consider at least adding the front splitter, if not the rear wing, though with minimum downforce, so as to not throw the balance too far...
We are 2 months after release, and most cars we are getting are from FH4 or other previous games. I'd say it's BS that it's licencing, it's 100% just prolonging the games lifespan without adding any actual content

although you are technically correct, it's not that black and white, you see, even if they have the money to license the cars, the brands are the ones who put the green light, we saw how Toyota didn't want to include their cars with some franchises like need for speed and forza, and there has been some similar situations with other car brands. I just wanted to point that out, cause in other cases, these methods of reusing cars from previous games is prolonging the lifespan of the game. Although, it's not the worse case scenario of stretching out some aspects of the game to prolong the lifespan of the game (gta online is way worse, the same for cod)
1:02 I think the mistake here is that the grandad Jag would be the 1966 XJ13 that was in the car pass a while back, not the 1993 XJ220 TWR which is more of a millennials era car. The XJ220 is actually quite good in S1 class.

I'm having an issue with todays dailly challenge "Playception -Complete any festival playlist activity". I completed them all yesterday, so I figured I'll just do them again and get the challange done. It didn't work that way. If I can't complete it with tommorows dailly challange I'm gunna file a bug report.

I was disappointed when I got this Zenvo. But then again, 120 points is very easy. But in the last 2 games it was something like in FH3 S2 990 and in FH4 I think it was X class without the wing Not my point though. It’s still a good S1 class all-rounder 😅
I hate how much work we have to do to complete Forzathons this time around. With school and all, everyone who's in school or work (which is gonna be basically everyone playing this game do not have any time to get all of the rewards and challenges done, I have not been able to get both season rewards at all yet, Ive only even had time for the first reward twice now. um so no-one else wants to talk about how this games multiplayer is a joke or how we haven't really seen anything new or even have had things removed from previous instalments?. i'm a massive forza horizon/motorsport fan but this game even though it has the proper horiozon fetsival vibe again is an absolute disappointment. there is no more competitive racing at all and as much as giving ppl rewards for participation is good n all it removes all sense of progress like why would i spend time tuning and getting good at racing if a newbie can jump in a boneshaker and win every race.... but ya know i got 10 wheelspins so its all good lol a penalty system that rewards rammers drift lobbies where if you do a burnout you win you cant choose what race you do forza does that so you need a comp car in every class if you wanna have a chance witch seem to be silly cars all of the time( boneshaker, ford supervan, etc)so you need to sit there an search 15 times to get the race you want this was a little rant but i'm kinda fed up of youtubers not doing their job and ignoring the glaring issues this game has.

Thanks to the festival playlist tidious grinding i have mist out on over at least 200 cars over the two 2 last games..
The TSR-S in this game maxes out at 1600+ hp, hence probably making it faster in acceleration vs the TS1. Plus i think it’s lighter, too.
Well, the TSR-S is kinda the newer one. But I do like it in blue, so I won’t argue. This was disappointing.

Tbh I havnt grinded on horizon 5 since I played it for a week straight near enough got to 521 cars and got all the gear clothes horns ect all I need is a few dlc cars and Forzathon cars and I have 100 of millions of credits there’s just a point you get to and there’s nothing g left to grind for
I was disappointed when I got this Zenvo. But then again, 120 points is very easy. But in the last 2 games it was something like in FH3 S2 990 and in FH4 I think it was X class without the wing

With school and all, everyone who's in school or work (which is gonna be basically everyone playing this game do not have any time to get all of the rewards and challenges done, I have not been able to get both season rewards at all yet, Ive only even had time for the first reward twice now. It's the worst system imo

Nothing new with Forza. I’ve been saying this for a while now, but they need to do something cool soon otherwise it’ll be the same thing every year. Rehashing these cars is ridiculous and there are many cool cars they can add. Btw the TS1 was a regular car in FH4… nothing new. Wishing Forza brings out new and fresh cars. So many cars out there.

i'm a massive forza horizon/motorsport fan but this game even though it has the proper horiozon fetsival vibe again is an absolute disappointment.
there is no more competitive racing at all and as much as giving ppl rewards for participation is good n all it removes all sense of progress like why would i spend time tuning and getting good at racing if a newbie can jump in a boneshaker and win every race.... but ya know i got 10 wheelspins so its all good lol
a penalty system that rewards rammers
drift lobbies where if you do a burnout you win
you cant choose what race you do forza does that so you need a comp car in every class if you wanna have a chance witch seem to be silly cars all of the time( boneshaker, ford supervan, etc)so you need to sit there an search 15 times to get the race you want
this was a little rant but i'm kinda fed up of youtubers not doing their job and ignoring the glaring issues this game has.

They already have EVs. Besides they are useless for anything than drag racing. Except for that pikes peak VW which is actually useless because this game’s map doesn’t support too many curvy roads and short Straights
