    I need a purple. A lavender purple blush, cool toned and in this formula!

    I actually love this release. I have 2 of the Rare Beauty blushes and one Tower 28 and love those, but I love that these are at a more affordable price point. I want more shades in this formula but I actually like the range they dropped so far. I like that you can choose how you want to build them up. For example, I actually love wearing darker blush shades sometimes, but I have to be careful to not add too much pigment. These are perfect for this! I have combo/oily skin but my cheeks are more combo so this works for me!

    Really like the finish on these! I hope they release some fun deeper vivid shades like a magenta, orchid, and raspberry - they would be fun to ombre and layer.

    These look interesting. I've really enjoyed the SS creme blushes I own. I prefer a satin/matte finish in a blush (I don't want shimmer particles on my cheeks to enhance texture) & I hate sticky textured creme blushes that are too balmy.

    They are beautiful Amanda. Thank you. I liked the first several colors the best but boy I wish I could scoop them all up.

    Great video! Thanks for the in-depth swatches :) I always like to wait to pick up my colourpop releases during Black Friday . I think I’m more interested in the powder blushes. Which blush formula from colourpop is your favorite?

    Thanks Amanda! I got an email from Colorpop this am and just deleted it. Glad I watched your swatches. I'm not into stick blushes and $12 for a pan, case and mirror is OK with me. However, Poppi is the only color I could wear. It looked great on you! I may pop it into my cart the next time I make a Colorpop order. Not holding my breath on Target. I live in a very densely populated area and the cosmetics at any Target are always trashed.

    Thank you so much for mentioning the ingredients! I’ve never had to check Colourpop products before but I am allergic to strawberries and your video made check before I bought these…thank you! I usually only have this issue with Tarte bc of their Maracuja products with all the fruit extracts.

    I don’t like how the two “r”s in cherry blossom are different 😵‍💫 but abt the formula, i love cream blush so im def getting this! 4:39

    Thanks for this very useful review. It was fairly expensive and is now being discontinued, but I'll miss the Shiseido Minimalist Whipped Powder blushes. I have two shades and think they were underrated. Perhaps people may not have understood how to apply them properly? This blush has a unique texture: a whipped mousse that dries to a powder finish; light; buildable; and very natural looking. Too bad the Colourpop blushes came out right after I bought the Kiko Milano Velvet Touch Creamy Stick Blush. Have you tried either of those blushes? if so, I'd be curious to know your thoughts.

    twelve dollars seems kind of steep

    • @MakeupJustForFun
      @MakeupJustForFun  ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I think that what is "expensive" is always going to be relative... the Rare Beauty cream blushes are $22 and I like this ColourPop formula more than those Rare ones 😅

    I wonder how the darkest shade compares to black honey? Maybe a blush to match, or a dupe for lips too.

    Question, the hand swatches look patchy, it it just me??

    • @MakeupJustForFun
      @MakeupJustForFun  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s a sheer/buildable formula and it’s being applied on that super textured part of my hand so that’s kinda the deal with that. You can see from the actual application on the smoother skin on my cheeks that it’s not patchy 🤩

  • @montananerd8244

    Lol I love all the shades but I know that if I swatched them all on my face, only 2 distinct colors would appear, most of these will look exactly the same on me. And I have several cream blushes that dupe these. And $12 seems high for a formula available under $8 in numerous good drugstore brands. Lol but I still kind of want to try them...I won't buy any but I'm still a bit annoyed with myself for even considering it, haha!

    • @MakeupJustForFun
      @MakeupJustForFun  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometimes I feel like all blushes look the same on me too lol! I'm a big cream blush fan but I am quite picky about formula so most of my preferred cream blushes are from the mid-tier to high end brands. I disliked the elf putty blushes so much that I immediately decluttered them - that's probably a hot take because a lot of people love those 😂 So this is just one girl's opinion but, I'd personally rather pay for (and recommend) a $12 blush that really kicks @$$ over one that's a couple bucks cheaper that isn't quite as good.

    I truly believe that ColourPop is releasing so many meh palettes or collections (many recycled shades) so they can use the money for these new products.

    • @MakeupJustForFun
      @MakeupJustForFun  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think they release a lot of neutrals because that’s what sells the most 😅 especially the customers that aren’t necessarily on beauty TH-cam but actually shopping in Target, etc. Most people that I know in “real life” literally only buy and wear neutrals 95% of the time 😬

  • @madihah108

    Thank you for this indepth video, and i love cream blushes because powder ones break me out quite bad. But unfortunately the colors that colorpop has released dont really excite me. Dior has released some nice colors in their blush on range and and they excite me. But here colorpop has released quite a few together bjlut nothing really exciting for me.
