this is easily one of the most impressive things ive listened to from shawn, it honestly boggles the mind. born ahead of his time by far and gone far far too soon. rip
lmao! I had the player set to 2x speed from a video I was watching before I clicked on this one and it was still believable since it's Shawn we're talking about. Put it back to normal speed and still blown away.
The song have a certain chaotic context that you can find in many HLS songs, I think Shawn did a great job to express chao as an emotion. And remember, this is just a short and cut part of the song. Also Shawn, although he composed a lot of very melodic, joyful song, he always liked to have a few songs who invite to play the fastest and completely far out stuff that nobody did far as he did. Last thing, remember that just because you don't feel it doesn't mean there isn't no feeling. Hope that helps
@@2minutesguitar708 I love Shawn and wasn't meaning to dis on him. I have heard a lot of his songs which are extremely soulful. I also really appreciate the unimaginable technical difficulty of being able to play with the incredible speed with which he was. I became aware of him in the early 80's. In the early 70's I had been a huge BOA fan back when Tommy Aldridge was on the drum kit. I really hoped Shawn would play longer with them and that he might help to bring in some new fans. BOA was a great live band. I think Shawn's medical problems were probably taking a toll on him even then. So to Shawn and all his fans hope we all get to hear you playing again in a better world. Rest in peace buddy.
Oh I know - bless your heart - most people are intimiated and jealous of his technical prowess, so don't feel too bad that you don't understand that speed doesn't necessarily mean soulless.
@@epipen1033 My sister in law had to get an epi-pen after being stung by hornets in Tennessee. She was a near world class athlete with two little boys when it happened. She managed to call for help before collapsing and falling into near respiratory arrest. She was rushed to a medical ER. Her boys were luckily in preschool at the time. Epi-pen. Don't leave home without it.
It's normal, people, it's Shawn, communicating with the alien mothership.
One of my favorite things to see is Shawn moving around and lifting his legs up just completely feeling the music.. Or was the music feeling him❤️

Holy shit
OH My God!
Unique ❤
Despite the poor video quality you can see his index finger stretched out in true Lane fashion. Legend
You can almost hear it
improv.. at this speed... improv....
Too dark, it says it's Shawn Lane but it could also be Kmac2021.
That sucked but in a very impressive fashion!
Why does all his videos has the worst. Quality. Jimi Hendrix bootleg vids from audience ftom 60s are better
It's hard to pick any emotion out of a solo when it's flying past you at warp speed. Next time put some feeling into it.
