This does contain spoilers if you're against that sort of thing.

i'm both annoyed and amazed how easy you were able to cast Arcane Ray, great vid though i'm definitely going to be trying these out when i next play.
Surprised i dont see more videos about this game by now, its such a great game.

@voor wat Only playing a couple hours is your problem. This game shines in the endgame, but the game doesn't hold your hand early on. It is a community focused game, you're going to have to find groups. I've got nearly 100 hours, and I've barely scratched the surface. Also, the game is getting more story content soon, plus climbing, and a 10 dollar dlc with an estimated playtime of 10-15 hours. The game has a super friendly community, and is the *only* successful vrmmo rpg. Sure, the game has bugs here and there, but so does rec room, which has way more funding than Orbus. Orbus is developed by a small team and was a crowdfunded project. Don't fucking diss a game before you even play the shit.
Got this game yesterday on Quest and have been practicing spells the whole time. Got a long ways to go before I can cast several successful spells in a row 😅

Yo man this is insanely helpful! You should post how to do the teleport spells because the lists online take me to different places. They say Highsteppe is like a diamond and trident but it’s the frost bolt F and trident.
I know no one is probably on here, but im very curious. Me and my friends were talking about a spell that he was capable of casting that i couldnt even find on the wiki, it was some major damage single target spell, tons of particles in hand but the issue was it was a U then a 3d U or an infinity symbol and a 3d U.
We have no clue how he got it but we are just confused

@@thefirstalex3560 most likely, but that takes FOREVER to charge. He did it twice in a few minutes still having no clue how he did tho
Is there a mod or does spells gets easier as you level up? Theres no way if I draw any of those spells the way you did it'd cast 😹

How do you draw them so well and flat/2D-like? Do you push out your Hands and Arms as far as it can? Or do you just have a great feeling where the strokes are exacly?
I have big trouble to draw them in 2D and straight enough, my strokes are often a arched outwards when I streching my arms fully out and the spells fail :C
I think it is better to keep your hand close to your body as it gives less sway to your arm, atleast that's what works for me
Whenever I draw an eight I get push back spell

do you need the spells in your book for you to be able to do them?
No, you can use them whenever.
I try to cast fireball 1 but then get frost 2 and my brain hurts
How do you do polymorph every time?
are these spells all available to find in-game on the pillars??
yeah some of them are just out in the wild while some you can just find in the town

I was tracing the spell stones (idk the place) and I still couldn’t get them any help?
Hey, few small suggestions would be after drawing, look at it from the side and make sure it's straight and not bowed. Also what helped me a lot was changing how big i draw. I had issues at the start because i was drawing way too large. Drawing too small can also cause issues.
Lastly, people use to say adjusting your graphics can help, but I don't know how credible that is.

I can never do frost 1
I keep dying cause it won't let me cast spells
Try not to freeze up , use your push back 1 then use ice 1 then afliction 1 or 2 depending on how easy and quick you think you can cast them then spam fireball 2 , hope this helps
News guys, Fireball 2 has an easier method i just randomly discovered today. Gonna share it later. P.s you dont have to draw any "B" and can be done in 1 stroke.
Paperclip 1 stroke?
Or you can draw a D and get it pretty consistently

Though got fireball 2 almost 90% of the time but there's times i got frostball 2 instead ....
@@SlowRkers I can't comment on what the new meta is tbh. I haven't played in almost a year, so i wouldn't be surprised if there were new, better shortcuts. I learned some after posting this video, just never got around to posting it. I wonder if people have gotten the 1 stroke fireball 3 down by now?

Meanwhile I can't get frost 1 working at all, but I can make portals anywhere. Crappy buggy gesture engine, avoid this game.

lack of practice will ruin a mage
I can totally understand him. It has nothing to do with practice if your spell fails even when it looks perfect from every angle.
