Sir i listened to your interview and you ask for privatisation corporatisation of industry and india is such a great country great people, sir most of the public sector like eil, ongc, etc are already corporatised.
But i couldn't understand how India could be great country when we don't have a local TV manufacturer, local refrigerator manufacturers, local Compouter Manufacturers, local smartphone manufacturers. It is shame that a country with 140 crore people our electronics needs are fullfilled by other countries. All the electronic goods tha are manufactured in india is done by foreign companies which too just assembled there components in india and don't make it in india.
When I was a kid there was BPL, Onida, Videocon , you took over Videocon what you did with its electronics division you shut it off.
And how much you paid to buy Videocon for, the company which had loan of 63000 crore was bought by you in 2900 crore. I think venugopal would have agreed to pay more than you if he was offered restructuring of loans.
