During the 1st day at Suzhou, we went to Ping Jiang Road, one of the historic street that offers a glimpse into the ancient heart of this renowned water town. Located along the scenic Pingjiang River, this 1.6-kilometer stretch is lined with traditional whitewashed houses, narrow alleyways, and arching stone bridges that evoke the elegance of old-world Suzhou. Walking down Pingjiang Road feels like stepping back in time, with its cobblestone streets, tranquil canals, and quaint teahouses. Known for its cultural significance, this area is a treasure trove of classical gardens, small museums, local eateries, and artisanal shops, making it a perfect destination for travelers seeking both beauty and history.
