Digital Library at Belagavi Smart City- Smart City ki Smart Kahaani!

Project is the up-gradation of Govt City Library into a Hi-tech digital library at Shahapur, Belagavi named Ravindra Koushik e-Library with Kids Zone. Belagavi Smart city has implemented an Integrated Ravindra Kaushik e-library with Smart Digital Library with world-class content, a paper library and a Kids Zone. It is the First Public Library in the world to implement ebooks co-created by Humans and Artificial Intelligence and First Public Library to have Cognitive Language Learning in 5 Languages. The library has a digital library of 5 languages including Kannada, English, Hindi, Marathi and Urdu. There are over 5000 books of different Genres available in the library, and an unlimited number of users can download a book on their mobile or computer. The books available in the library can be viewed through the Smart City E-Library Application in Belagavi. There are also books that can be used for competitive exams prep, general books, Journals, language learning, ebooks for Specially Abled (Blind, ADHD, Dyslexic) and Adults as well as small children’s books. These SMART & ACTIVE eBooks engage & entertain Readers and provide a great experience so that they get addicted to reading. The library has physical books, AIO Desktops, Server, WiFi, Gigabit network, CCTVs, Smart TV, and Rugged Tablets. The integrated library has books and content covering various age groups from 2 to 70+ years.

The Kids Zone solution will help teachers in teaching children effectively by promoting sustained and healthy brain development and growth in a child’s early years of age 2-10 years through monitoring, measurement, and management and improve child’s academic performance using Smart eBooks and Smart eFlashcard content. Will reduce their educational expense and give them the best study atmosphere at our Kids Zone centres.
