    Purl 2 together through back loop
    That doesn't sounds too difficult!
    When you start decreasing more frequently you're likely to see decreasing abbreviations on every row, not just every knit row. You'll more likely find p2tog and p2tog tbl if you're knitting on single-pointed needles as the designer will use all options available to achieve the envisioned look.
    I have two methods for you here today - as I cloned this myself and have found an easier way to create mirrored shaping with the alternative approach.
    Here's a link to the jargon demos pdf, as mentioned in the video, so you'll have all the jargon videos right at your fingertips and never be confused by knitting jargon again. :0)

    This is fantastic! That turning of the stitches makes it so much easier. Best p2togtbl tutorial 👌

    Oh my gosh Hannah! I just watched this the night before and I'm having to rewatch your video to make sure I'm doing it correctly. It's definitely one the harder stitches in knitting! But your hack does make it easier. Thanks for sharing!

      I come back to it too! It’s so rarely in a pattern so is easy to forget. Happy knitting 🧶

    Omg what a difference a stitch makes lol. I wish I could show here the difference in untwisting the p2togtbl. Thank you. It looks so much neater and matches the other side edge where I p2tog. Thank you again for this tip! 💕 😊 👏

      Hi Zarina - yes that's a large family and they're all getting bigger every day I should think! I am in England, UK. Good guess. Happy knitting! 🧶

    Thank you Hannah! I am revisiting this video of yours as the pattern I have just started has the "2Ptog tbl" in it. I first found your tutorials a couple of months back. They are a pleasure to watch with clear explanations and demonstrations. By the way, I find the way you hold your needles while knitting interesting! While I myself don't think I could ever transition to this style I do see your knitting is fluid as well as quick! And thank you for compiling your tutorials into a list for us to download!! Always a pleasure to watch and listen Hannah! Thank you for the review.

    Too confusing

    • @KnitWithHannah
      @KnitWithHannah  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It’s a tough one for sure. You could continue with p2tog if it’s not a major part of the stitch pattern or final design.

      @@KnitWithHannah 👍😁❤️
      I will have to continue to use the traditional P2togtbl without the complication of slipping stitches and twisting. Arthritis makes that difficult, I always forget which way to twist and drop stitches 😂😂
      I use it for raglan sweaters.
