For me this song describes how it feels when my daughter is gone for months at a time. No word if she is okay until she shows up again. She is manic and bipolar, so it is difficult at best to lock the door each night. This song is my expression of this feeling. Your cover of this song is amazing. Your voice, your passion , the instruments you play , all just come together so well and it is such a joy to get to share that brief moment in a day to listen to this and it helps me get through until the next day and so on. Maybe one day she will be in a different place in life and I wont need this song anymore until then , thank you .

As a father of 2 amazing son’s one is 22 and is currently serving in the U.S army the other is 5 years old. I pray things change and give them the opportunity to achieve what we call the American dream. Things have changed so much. The cost of housing, living, healthcare the list goes on and on. Seems the system wants everyone to live pay check to paycheck and never get ahead to achieve there own slice of the American dream.
