Just got the Tab A 8.0 2019 version in black, SM-T295 (LTE version) in Kuala Lumpur. I am very pleased with the tablet. Price was definitely a factor compared to the Tab A with S-Pen which was almost double (RM599 vs RM1099). For the features it ticks the good enough checkbox in pretty much every area as a basic tablet. I think sound quality wise it is better than the S-Pen version. Given the price difference I can live without the lower processor and resolution, S-Pen, micro-USB connector.

I just got this Samsung Tablet works like a charm only thing is it took 4 hours to charge, I don't know if it took that long because it's the first charge. Also what I found odd was that a got a message that my tablet staying that the charge is taking longer and to use the charger that came with the tablet, I did use the charger that came with the tablet. I have an old Tab E Lite that I use fairly frequently because it has the earphone Jack. I, unfortunately, spend a lot of time in hospital waiting rooms where Bluetooth won't do for me because it makes hearing a page difficult to hear. With looser fitting earphones, I can hear my device while still being aware of surrounding voices. I also like the size of the Tab E because it's light and easy to carry around with me. It would be nice to upgrade to a newer tablet, but the trend of the disappearing headphone jack is not an option for me. Even though I won't be considering the purchase of this particular tablet, I look forward to your complete review, and possible comparison to the same with the SPen.
consider an over the ear BT Headset like the “AfterShokz Titanium Bone Conduction Wireless Bluetooth Headphones, Slate Grey” for instance, on Amazon; that was model I bought and it lasted many years and titanium headband was very tough. Little small for my head, but loved it. Your ear canals remain completely uncovered and open. I work with equipment and cannot have cords dangling, so they’re good for this too. Newer models now and $$ but worth it if you can do it.

Any keyboard works well. Make sure to get T290 as it is cheaper then T295. If you can also get a mouse go to Dev Options by clicking your Tab Model in about tablet tillie says You are now a developer then go to Developer options and enable Force Apps to allow pop-up view and also enable Force Apps to allow multiwindow then download "Sentio Desktop". Thats a really good way to make your tablet feel like a mini laptop

I have had mine for 3 weeks and hate it. Slow, poor screen, touch sensitivity is terrible. Sometimes I need to hit buttons 3-5 times before the device responds.
I a high school student just have a low paying summer job, so this is perfect for me. And this would also be a great gift to a kid if a parent doesn't want to spend too much money on a tablet, but doesn't want an Amazon fire tablet.

I just bought this tab two days ago. It has Dolby Atmos. The sound is amazing. And fast, too, for 2 GBs of ram.

I play plenty of games on here and it runs high graphics 30 or 60 fps. This is much better than my Samsung Galaxy j3 2018

IF you have the LTE version, it should be at the same place as the microSD card slot. If you have the WiFi version, then there is no sim card slot.
