Like Nick said Ebay. I'd also suggest OfferUp and Letgo as well. Just beware there are a lot of scammers on OfferUp, but I've made a good deal of purchases on OfferUp whether getting something shipped or locally and never had an issue. Also sold items through OfferUp locally. I also have experience dealing with scammers so I know how to spot good people. Look for good photos, communication and reviews are nice, but everybody that has ever sold something via one of these sources has had to have somebody take a risk on them and be their first buyer. If your gut tells you something is funny don't do it! Good luck on your search.
they didn't supply an ac adapter because there are different voltages for different countries in europe, we here in portugal have a different voltage compared to you, so they just released this generic european version and didn't put an ac adapter for every country the console was shipped to because that would mean there would be several different versions
It's funny that you say that because I actually got an AC adapter with mine I heard that we were not going to get one but when I opened mine up and got it I was like OK so I guess they change their mind.
I got my nes classic at my local retro games store and they always hack in all the games they can do when I get one of these things I’m only getting it from there
i don't get why they didn't double the frame rate in star fox 2 for this release.. they could have just said "we doubled the frame rate but everything else is the same" and no one would have been like "why did those idiots do that?!"
Many of these older games have 'physics' and calculations done on a per-frame basis rather than a wall-clock basis. Doubling the FPS can double the speed these calculations are carried out and can break parts of the game. SF2 used the Super FX 2 chip so that might have further complicated things. I can't tell you that either (or both) of these things is the reason why, but given the time and polish they gave the SNES Classic I'm sure if it was simple they would have done it.
God, our SNES in America is so ugly. I wish they had just kept the same look for the console in all regions. The only thing I like about the American SNES is the concave X and Y with the convex A and B.
My friend has one. It's OK. Honestly it's not any better than an emulator. It IS an emulator. It's RetroArch, which you can install on any computer. 16 bit fucking era fucking blows anyway. I end up playing NES games that he put on there anyway. Hit me up when they make one for PS1 games. Hell I'm going to be doing that anyway. Get some small linux computer, install Mednafend and Retroarch and your good.
These games were meant to be played in 4:3. Designers knew how displays would scale at the time
this just came out whilst i was binge watching some of your older reviews i just found your channel and its awesome keep up the great work man!
For someone who didn't experience the SNES vs Megadrive era
I was happy to discover some of these games such as EarthBound and Secret Of Mana
Don't worry about it. The NES Classic Edition will be re-release on summer 2018.
I"ve searched high and low for an SNES Classic Edition, and I can't find one, one day I will though.
William Lowery ebay.

Only expecting GTS review
Retropie. I know this is more polished but you CAN get so much more out of a raspberry and it isn't that difficult thanks to Reddit and TH-cam.

“they didn’t want so much excess wire in case you wanted to play in the virtual console” FeelsBadMan

Just found your channel. Great stuff!
You can plug it on the back of your TV
I suspect Star Fox 2 uses extra hardware on the mini not available on the original system.. (and I’m not talking about the superfx chip either)
Mitchell Urgero it isn't
The American Nes gives u a power adapter
Amazing little system and collection of games (but thank jeebus for hakchi2). Controller extension cables are a must
I got the North American version of SNES Classic Edition because i'm from North America.
Nice review fair play 👌
Chrono Trigger... why not?!.
I heard the intro. I thought I accidentally clicked on a kirb/axolotl meme...

What is with Nintendo not including AC adapters??? They are so annoying.

PSP is great for PS1 emulation and ePSXe is a very good emulator for PC.
Sorry , but this is a crappy deal, just get an emulator, and youll get allo f this for free, plus you can play it on your pc .
Why not just use your original SNES. Buying this classic bullshit makes no sense.
