I love the pace of your tutorial. You don't waste time teaching the stitches. I also like that you have the sequence of stitches listed on the screen. Really an excellent video.

Hi! It's amazing what you do, I always watch your tutorials! I could ask you if you can do a tutorial on how to make a flower charm, they are very famous on tik tok and I like how you teach. thanks and bye ❤ (it's like a little flower bag) ❤
hi, thank you so much for your support and for your sweet words 🥺 oh ya, I think I've seen that flower bag charm on my fyp. I will try my best to make it when I have a chance 🥰💕
I had a hard time too. I watched the video zoomed in and slower and it helped. As a complete novice the teacher's hint is to spiral the stiches around the stem. I started over several times and by the end of the flower, I was getting the hang of it. Stick with it, you can do it. This is a great video and a great teacher. 🎉
Hi! Thank you so much for this tutorial, it is awesome! Could you tell me, how many petals do you do in a row before going to the next row? Hope this makes sense, i tried to spiral but the stem shows!? Thanks for your time, take care
What brand of yarn are you using? I can only think of hobbii 8/6 cotton would be the correct size, but I dont want to wait for shipping if it's a brand sold in stores. It's really tough to find light/fine yarn for some reason.
Any 4ply, 5ply or 8ply (US #1, #2, or #3) cotton should be perfectly fine, I think the Hobbi 8/6 is 5-6 ply, I think 8/4 is their 4 ply and 8/8 is their 8 ply... I wouldn't go up to a 10ply (#4, quite common yarn weight in the US) as it could be too thick and damage the spine/binding of your book, just my suggestions, everyone has their own tension to consider
Yes, it's an intriguing technique, I think it's just the way she learnt to crochet... the suggestion that it's for amigurumi is only half true, you use yarn under for all parts of the single crochet stitch construction and you get crossed stitches which have tighter tension... this is only yarn under on the draw up a loop and slip stitches, it would possibly add slightly tighter tension to the base of the stitch and would be hardly noticeable I would think... maybe we should all do some testing to see the difference for ourselves... it's fascinating!
@@susanelizabeth3381there's no single crochet term used in UK crochet terminology therefore it's US, the pattern can easily be adjusted so that you can still make it single = double, half double = half treble, double = treble, treble = double treble

Really good video! I struggled a little bit, because I chrochet really tense 🙈 but it looks beautiful, but definitely not fun to make (for me)
hi, thank you! 🥰 ya I could imagine that this is kinda painful for anyone who crochets with tense but thanks for your kind words 💕
Maybe try a larger hook size?
@@sibyllapinski9875 I think I was the problem there, since I crochet really tense 😅
@@plantyyy-1702yes, so the suggestion of using a larger hook size is to help counterbalance your right tension, try it and see how it goes
How could I get the pattern? They are beautiful

Should both of the colours be the same yarn size?
hi, I don’t think so, it’s just if you use bigger yarn size, you will get fluffier results 😊

What size yarn and hook is she using?
🤗🤗💚💚❤❤💙💙
Where do you weave you ends into?
Hide/weave them into the stitches of the same colour
The two I have made so far seem limp, the leaves are kind of floppy. Anyone have ideas on how to make them feel more stiff.
Hii! How do i fasten 😅
hii, make a slip stitch in the next stitch, 1 ch, cut off the yarn, then fasten off 😊
@@kukkacrochet omgg tysmm!!
Why do you interchange between yarn over and yarn under?
I was wondering the same. I’d love to know.
I noticed that too and was curious. It seems to be the first motion (or whatever you’d call it) after inserting the hook for each stitch
It is commo in amigurumi- it makes a tight, clean stitch.
