This custom crafted foundation tiny house is hidden in plane sight. Tucked away in the leafy hills of West Hobart the home is completely private and entered via a lush 🌱walled courtyard, which adds to the sense of privacy and seclusion.
This designer space is a true sanctuary, yet only minutes stroll from the CBD in Hobart, affording it’s occupant the dual effect of being connected to the city, but disconnected from the urban environment.

What a lovely little bnb. Great aesthetic, but I can't stand the spiders web light fitting and spiders web fall protection at the foot of the bed. To me, it makes a neat room look messy. I know that you love it Ben. Each to their own, I guess. 🙂
Yes this was a very unique space, and the owners certainly put their own unique spin on it. It was a bit naughty the real meaning behind what inspired the design..

Your flight attendant impression at 3:59 is quite humorous - you may have missed your calling. No, methinks not, as your videos are so informatively entertaining. The editing on this one is excellent, as is the camera work. That staircase is quite unique, and the perfect way to reach the equally unique loft with its ingenious trap door and well-placed sky lights - since this tiny house is situated in the city, would it be too noisy to sleep with them open on a warm summer's evening to benefit from a gentle cross breeze...? It is quite evident that this has been a labor of love for the owners, who have done a magnificent job creating such a wonderfully unique living environment. I hope you enjoyed that edition of "Cabin Porn" - no need to go into any details as what happens at The Shed stays at The Shed; that is, until the paparazzi photos are leaked to the press. Still immensely enjoying the humorous outtakes at the video's end: I love how you retrieve creative inspiration from the sun's light at 4:55 - and you did not just pocket your dad at 5:10...?! Hmm, yes there may be a slight "hum" from the city, although Hobart is quite a small city. If the hum was too much, this place also has air conditioning which is great. Yes, And so close to the city. Quiet as a mouse inside and ultra-private. Just needs an outdoor courtyard bath under the fern! :)
