The pacing is so much better than Walt Disney World, also, I really love the exterior area. There's so much detail. It feels like a Disney ride they would build in the '90s

A few leftover warehouse a1000 animatronics that were reskinned is impressive to you? The animal characters are literally the single axis type you can find for the holidays at Home Depot, complete garbage filler. All of Splash Mountain’s characters were custom designed from the ground up, especially the Brer characters. They all were unique and used hydraulics that are actually designed for humidity and temperature fluctuations.

This is an absolute disaster. Disney destroyed Splash Mountain, the heart and pride of Disneyland for a soulless corporate merchandise cash grab and downgraded complexity for reduced maintenance costs and water reduction. 🗑️

@@FIVEFIRES hopefully you didn’t get too soaked! Back o’ tha boat is the way to go! My mother in law was in the second seat on Splash when that infamous wall of water comes over the bow! She had to dry the bills in her wallet…that were IN her purse!!!! Crazy

Why isn't there water coming down the final drop??
To save money on their water bill. Why do you think they also eliminated the waterfall on the side after the big drop as you’re heading to the finale? Or how about why they eliminated the water jets spraying, or the real plants being swapped out with fake ones? This entire disaster was designed to be cheaper and less labor for them. It doesn’t end here either, they destroyed the Haunted Mansion fountain too and that is just an empty prop now.
