- WHAT AN AMAZING KIT! I think my favourite part so far was finding out I didn't have to build the motor and transmission - as it is already assembled! The colors of the accessories I have painted (yellow) make the blue and black come alive! The transmission sounds sooo smooth with the motor, and the way the wheels assemble and mount? No nice!
This forklift is already "knocking it out of the park" for me. I am used to using an older 'Carson" model forklift, with plastic gears, slow motors, and a low lift capacity. Everything about this mast says strength. I am excited to use a hydraulic forklift, as I already can tell that its going to be a beast. This feels like its going to be 3 or 4 more times heavier than my older Carson model.
This model is about $1000.00 USD depending on where you find them.. so they are a heavy price for a seemingly heavy machine. Time and use will tell if they are worth the money. So, Ill put it to work as soon as I am done building...

I am enjoying your build. I liked the idea of using the coping to organize the LED wiring. Nice touch! Looking forward to "loading wars".
I gotta say, those colors really are coming together nicely. Also the scale bolts are one of my favorite parts. Along with the "Open Diff" design that, in my opinion, is imperative for smooth turning and operation. Awesome build so far. Looking forward to the next video for sure. 👍✌

Thanks for calling attention to the way things sound. It's a largely ignored part of rc youtube productions but I for one always want to hear gears turning, tapping a metal piece, a piece of gold dropping & so on. Please feel free to bring your cam's mic as close as possible to these sort of things and give us time to listen. It's one of the many things I like about your channel, Aaron.

Loving that it has a sound kit. And tbose marker lights defo look better now you've sorted the little bolts but not keen on the clear plastic mounts, I'd have painted them black or silver if it were mine! But loving this build cant wait to see it working. Got some of those marker lights watching on eBay now Ive seen them might just have to order em!

I would personally paint all the light cables in black and carefully glue them on the inside frame of the cab.

my guess that hole in the "cushion" is for venting the speaker so the cone/diaphragm of the speaker isn't held up by any type of vacuum and damaged or distorted?
I think it's for a peg for the driver, so the driver doesn't just fall out.

I always admired the detailing of the models to scale. Have you ever tried to build an SUV Niva 2121 4x4 RC? If you do not know this car, read about it. You, I think, will like it

What if you mounted a camera on a tripod filming while you’re working and then present it in a time lapse so we could see the whole build? This shit is so cool!
the camera is on a tripod when I am working, and no.. people hate time lapse videos.
I'd have to spend a good 3 hours on painting the interior.
And not forgetting some furry dice!

Thinking the hole in the seat is more of a tone hole for the sound than a screw hole. Loving the build and now I'm itching to build something.... I'm sure my wife wouldn't appreciate another RC but... IT ITCHES SOOOO BAD...

One thing when I was looking at the wiring up the lights. Is using the clear hot glue on the wire against the the metal to keep the wires in place in stead of using the zip tie, is that good or would that be a mess to deal with?... You can make a detailed gauge graphics on the steering panel so it does not look all black. The hole on the chair might be for a doll you want to place their on the seat. Other words, the operator of the forklift.

The hole in the seat is for if the seat gets wet it can drain, not a screw hole.

You should buy a old tamiya tt01 or TL01 and make a spare parts build
So use 2nd hand or spare parts ONLY to make a rat rod/rally build

I'm a fellow Canadian and I've been searching to find where you can buy if possible this Lesu forklift in Canada. Can you advise where you bought it or know where is my best place to find it online? Also, I've been in the RC hobby 20plus year, made plenty of RC kits but nothing with hydraulics. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the hardest how hard is this kit to build?
I had to order mine from overseas bud, sorry! this build difficulty so far is a 6/10
@@TheRealRCSparks Hey, thanks for the quick reply, I droll over your collection! Could I ask another question. Next to the Lesu forklift what would you say is the next best? I have watched your videos on the Carson H40 with Li-po battery mod. I would be doing that mod immediately as I don't like the fact this model works off double A batteries. I just wish there was another kit out there somewhere in between the Lesu and Carson price wise but there doesn't seem to be much out there.
