BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville, New Jersey, is a 183-acre (74.1-hectare) Hindu mandir (temple) complex that encompasses the Akshardham mandir, a traditional temple, a welcome center, museum, and event space. Following the opening of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in 2014, the Akshardham mandir was inaugurated on October 8, 2023 as the world’s 2nd largest Hindu temple. The temple stands 191 feet (58 m) high and is situated 99 km south of New York City. **Wikipedia

Its Nagara Style temple architecture( mostly followed in the North west part of India) based on Hindu scriptures, its really ancient stone architecture, no use of cement, steel or any metals as these things will age over time. All the stones are handcarved in India by the viswakarma clan (the descendants of the people who carved ancient temples) then reassembled in US like a jigsaw puzzle. Basically the temple stand stone in its own weight and can last for 1000s of years.

India does not have such large structures left as they were destroyed by Islamic invaders as well as European colonizers. More than 40,000 "Mandirs" or Temples were destroyed by Muslims in last 1000 years

Wow! What a gorgeous temple and surrounding buildings. I had never heard of this temple before your video. Wow, the golden statue is stunning. So many amazing statues! I love the elephant sculpture. Very cool to see inside too. It’s packed! So many people visiting. I would love to try the samosa. Wow! The colors in the sky at dusk as the sun goes down behind the temple and gold statue, WOW! It's Nagara style architecture built with ancient modern methods
Chola style architecture is very different style of architecture which we can see in southern India and South east Asia.
The largest Hindu temple is in combodia Angkor wat
No it's ancient Nagara style stone Architecture. There are many ancient temples in India with this style but not this big. Such structures will last for 1000s of years as it's purely built on stone (without any metals or cement) like an ancient advanced jigsaw puzzle according to Hindu scriptures. The modern part of the temple is the use of cranes and lighting, also the sculptors employ machines to cut large stones apart from that it's ancient stone art. In ancient India such structures are built over 2 to 3 generations now with modern equipment we can do it in 10 years

Namaskaram, that golden statue is not a lady. He is Nikanth Verni, a yogi and enlightened being to whom this temple is dedicated.
