That was a fantastic episode. Having an episode about enthusiasts and how dangerous it is when they risk their lives is a great idea to show how important it is for their safety. Emily being the main character is a great idea and I think this would work very well if it made it into the Television Series :).
This has to be my favorite NWR Tales yet! I love how your using Emily also! I saw the reference with Oliver's train. :p. Also the "Sir Topham Hatt" twitter recently had a story about this! It seems quite the coincidence. Loved it! And Emily breaks the fourth wall, which was funny in its own way. Keep up the good work!
Enjoyed this episode. Also like the TARDIS cameo at 4:36. I have been a Dr. Who fan for years so I liked seeing it. There have been other Dr. Who cameos in other series as well. it is nice to see that time and space include SODOR.
I love how these episodes take place in the modern day, and all the episodes about rail enthusiests. I'd love to see an episode or special about a movie crew visiting Sodor someday.
Very nice episode. I really liked it. And I like the message it gives to anyone who plans on taping trains by the lineside to keep back at a safe distance.
Good story! It makes all of us railfans think. I was just out chasing trains yesterday on the Strasburg Railroad, and while I was there I saw two people trying to take their photo from the ballast! (which caused them to walk into my shot, also a no-no). Thankfully, they realized how dangerous this was when the engine started coming, so they backed up.
This makes me glad I take caution when taking pictures/videos of trains. Out of curiosity, where is BoCo located at the beginning? I don't completely recognize the location.
Most enthusiasts heed the warnings and stay safe. The others.....well, you get the idea :P No matter how badly you want a shot, compromising yours or anyone else's safety isn't worth it
A good story with a very important moral, I'm surprised Thomas & Friends haven't done something like this before? Nice to see Emily being used :) just wondering if you consider ideas in the comments, would you ever make an episode using the Arthur model you used in one of your Christmas episodes?
It’s not the tardis, not everything involving the police box is a reference to Dr. Who, except for my ‘Engine Who?’ episode from 2014. This is what it really is: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Police_box
On the Translink NI Railways (Northern Ireland) network, the max fine is £1K / £1000. I have seen other train spotters trespass before when I was out train spotting. Don't worry, me & my friends don't try to trespass when out train spotting, not all train spotters / railfans are bad, that's a thing a lot (
Are you sure that's just a police box? :p Joking aside- another great episode. I was wondering if anyone else (besides the few I've seen here and there) would attempt an episode/story about tresspassing enthusiasts.
Well no, I decided to write a story about it after seeing the picture that is seen in the description. Then when I watched 'Safe with Sam', a Fireman Sam episode, the ending had Sam telling the viewers about fire safety.
It was a person based upon a video from 2010 or 2011, can't remember what year. I do know of its existence and was careful not to make a rehash and sometimes I want to give a message out to people who are watching it and besides since my series is set in real life, so chances are there are many different kind of people who can do the same thing.
I love how Emily has the buffers to break the forth wall :)
this one really feels like a thomans episode, even ending with a lession for children but not being horrible for an adult to follow. Nicely done!

Another good episode about teaching safety on Railways.
6:43 OOH!! Breaking the 4th wall are we. Good advice though.

the first time I've ever really liked Emily. awesome video!
Love the PSA at the end.
Very nice episode. I really liked it. And I like the message it gives to anyone who plans on taping trains by the lineside to keep back at a safe distance.
who would have known this episode would be so relevant two years later :3
@2:14 Never did I expect to hear the word "Damn" in your series.
It's 'daft'
NWR1991 Oh, well that what it really sounds like, to be honest. But even so, I really enjoy your series.

When I was small, this episode helped me realise how dangerous things like this are! Thank you!👌😉👏
I saw the reference @ 4:18 Oliver's train
Thats funny, I watched the video of Oliver Cromwell and that trainspotter earlier! Great video!
That's not what the story is based upon.
I know, Just found it to be a coincidence
I like how you used Emily in this episode. Well done. Very well done.
I was on a rail tour with Flying Scotsman and from Crewe to Paddington we were stopped 15 times because of people standing on the mainline...
I love this episode
Brilliant episode, NWR1991!
This makes me glad I take caution when taking pictures/videos of trains.
Out of curiosity, where is BoCo located at the beginning? I don't completely recognize the location.
Around Edward's branch line

AWESOME! And I saw the tardis in this one!
Luca Dollar Me too It looked great
there’s a doctor who reference in here! Why is the tardis in sodor

EMILY HAS A SCOTTISH ACCENT?
AJ Finley She's always had it

A Tardis?!

Was Emily breaking the fourth wall at the end?
Yes, I was inspired by 'Safe With Sam' when at the end Fireman Sam broke the 4th wall giving the moral of story about fire safety
NWR1991 They also did that in the TUGS episode 'Munitions'
Nice job loved how you put Emily giving advice at the end. But she doesn't speak with a Scottish accent.
Daniel Milov She was. It’s just hard to mimic a feminine voice
yes she does . not in the american dub of the show the uk version
Was that just the idea to have Emily speak to the viewers at the end?
Well no, I decided to write a story about it after seeing the picture that is seen in the description. Then when I watched 'Safe with Sam', a Fireman Sam episode, the ending had Sam telling the viewers about fire safety.
Just so you know the fines more like 2000
I got the fine price from the Sir Topham Hatt twitter RP account when I was writing this story years ago.
You know I think this episode's plot is kinda similar to another episode of yours with Boco only it was a rock or something that almost hit someone.

I see
Even though I hate hearing Emily with a Scottish accent, that was a nice episode. :)
What's the matter with a Scottish accent?
I like Emily with her Scottish accent
Emily had that accent in the TV show
I think you'll find that the fine is actually £1000 not £250
4th wall broken
