Seems like it has the same 'slow update' issue as the Quanum 2,4Ghz DSSS one that only transmits every 4 seconds or so. Still, nice video Bruce, keep 'em coming. :)
@xsykgaffelx yes, one sine wave period consist of two sine halves, one positive and one negative. 2 (flashes as you have put it) * 60sec * 50Hz = 6000RPM :)
thanks Bruce, looking forward to you putting in a model. A question. If I put he Frsky system in my old Futaba 35mhz radio, Could I have the best of both. meaning 35 mhz and 2.4... being controled by a switch.
Thanks for that , very informative. I was thinking of getting the FRSKY lite version I hope it has all the same features as this one : except for the built in transmitter module. Let us know how it goes .
great thanks on second thought I decide just to get the LCD to be use with my DJT unless I'm getting another 9x the dashboard modules will definitely in my list to buy
Does this have the same performance in range/reliability as the DJT socket module? im thinking in upgrading my 9X to FrSky for use for both regular planes and FPV planes (for wich i dont need the telemetry, but i can use it for regular planes) and this looks nice but im afraid for some reason it could not perform as well as the DJT module
The most important to me is :first )connect the Frsky module to the Walkera TX . Where is that information ? Where is the PPM pin in the Walkera TX ? After that all question has common sense. I just installed the Hub with a thermo scout sensor and variometer sensor but I need to eliminate the RX 7 substituting by the D8R II- 8 channel with telemetry.
You talk very fast and not clear ...you also go through the scenes very fast, so nobody can consentrate to something of his interest. For example I 'd like to see the cable connections to the hub and the receiver ...

@KozmykJ The hub box has a 'Vario' input so probably there's a separate sensor available for that.

Does the Accelerometer only output to those x,y,z readings or is there a Vario display from the Y axis?
I'm thinking Glider here.
Great Video As Usual. How the FPV going will there be any videos up soon?
The sensor hub looks quite similar to the one from Hitec. Could it be that the sensors are compatible? Just a wild guess...
Great review as always Bruce!

have you tested the max range of the module? I thinking of buying 1 for my 9x it either get the LCD or the all in one modules
Do I need to have the sensor Hub in order to get RSSI information.
Would an ac adapter do to power the turnigy accucel 6
Where did you buy the dashboard?
How would you suggest mounting this on the new 9x (V2)?

where did you buy this, I cant find a store that carries it. (USA)
u didnt talk about RSSI! the most important thing , in my opinion
would be your best option and it is very easy.
The hub has two cables . one to A2 port. and the other to any (#) channel .
that frsky telementry hub looks like the hitec one
range sir ?
I like mine but they need to get the sim recorder working, because when experimenting I cant take my eyes off the plane to watch it
@PHeMoX Doh! Zero points for observation for me. ^.^
Thanks
Nice Video
I am flyin turbine jet, 5 seconds is a very very long time to wait....
haha he says the GPS sensor is pretty small. Yet in his another video he says how BIG it is :D
Its very stupid FrSky doesnt have the sensor that can measure the speed w/o using GPS

looks mickey mouse to me ... my opinion get a dx 8
