The Kom Ombo Temple | Aswan | CMI Egypt Tour.

Our cruise boat brought us to the location of the Ptolemaic Temple of Kom Ombo. To get to shore we have to walk through other boats, which you will see at the end. This tour took place as the sun set and the Temple was lit up for us to see. It was very busy and noisy so some of Tareq’s explanations you may need to adjust. We see the worship of Sobek the crocodile god and then towards the end I have pictures from the mummified crocodile museum. Imhotep is described by Tareq as he appears throughout the different centuries in Egyptian history. Medical tools and a calendar are shown in hieroglyphs. This Temple has two sides, one to Horus and the other to Sobek, real crocodiles and hawks were kept and Tareq will explain how people came to seek words of knowledge from the live crocodile and bring it offerings.
Romans 1:18-25
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
