I can't see either Cristina OR Denny being each other's type, but I can see how interesting the possibilities would be- for someone as focused and "hard core" as Cristina to do the unthinkable and fall in love with a patient- it could have good dramatic possibilities exactly BECAUSE it would be so unlike her. She would question everything about herself (very compelling to see in a character who knows who she is and what she wants out of life).

What I’m still trying to figure out is who will be merediths “person” since at first it was Christina then Alex, but when Alex left who will it be next. I think it could be Maggie and Amelia. But at the same time I think they still need to develop there friendship first. I’ll put it as this, Imagine Meredith dying her “person” will be the one crying next to her or creaming at the doctors to save her. Is Maggie or Amelia going to do that or are they just going to be in shock. For now the closes could be Maggie, Amelia is nice and all but they fought a lot and I think Maggie would be better at being merediths “person”.
Amelia and Mer share this whole different connection tho. They fought a lot at the beginning Bc Mer was jealous of Amelia and like (I don’t remember who) said, she was mad that Amelia was the wrong Shepherd. Now they have an unbreakable bond. I personally think that either Jo or Amelia would be perfect, but Maggie is just too “bright and shiny” to be Mers person. She needs someone who has seen rock bottom or she won’t respect their opinion about her problems. No offense to Maggie, but she hasn’t been thru that much compared to other characters. I think if Mer went to Maggie with a problem, Maggie might interpret it differently than we would (also she can be just a lil bit insensitive about people Mer has lost and her relationships with them) I think Amelia would be more of a fit, as they have both been thru very similar situations and they have more of a sisterly bond. ((Some traumatic experiences they have both been thru: loosing a spouse, loosing a baby(though Amelia held hers, Mer did miscarry), loss of a sibling, missing father figure, parent neglect from mother, have friends who died, dads are dead, childhood trauma, etc.)) As for Jo, she has been there since S9, so she knows Mer better than anyone there, especially Bc Alex was her person, she heard stuff and understands Mers mindset. I don’t think Jo will end up being her person tho, as she hasn’t talked to Mer in quite a few episodes. Over all, I think Amelia would be the best candidate.

You know why Grey's standout more than other Medical dramas??? It's because of the settings they took the shoot. I mean is the other medical dramas looks like a hospital without adventure but Seattle Grace Hospital/ Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, it feels like it's home and probably the best hospital in all medical dramas and it have alot of adventure. The casts are all fun and exciting and so very good at their acting.
