    My name is from the Tanakh. Immer, I guess it is אמר. Is the meaning to say?

      Using the paal conjugation pattern, then this root is the essence of the verb "to say", yes. The question is, how "immer" was spelt in the Bible, that might be another root, and therefore not connected to this verb. But I am not in to Biblical Hebrew, so I am afraid, I cannot say.

      @@HebrewVerbs so much to learn! I didn't know that Hebrew and Biblical Hebrew were different.
      I was listening to a rabbi,(was raised Christian but now am a B'nei Noah) and he mentioned that names have meanings.
      I thought it would be cool to see if Immer has any meaning.
      I do find it funny that I am a follower of the G-D of Israel without a Jewish background or culture.
