oh my God, I watched this film when I was a kid, and I've been trying to find our video recording but couldn't, then I looked it up, and here it is, and im having a childhood memory moment... like some of those frames just bring back memories and... and... like, this film means so much to me :3
I just bought this on DVD. I used to watch it all the time when I was young. I may even still have a VHS copy. It's a great movie, especially if you're someone who's had a dog as their best friend.
I am looking for the title of this movie for a long time for it is the first movie that I had watched in the cinema with my father and younger brother when I was 9 and I always remember that it had touched my heart since for so many reasons and one of it is that my father hardly saved money for us to try to experienced watching in a movie house(we are not rich) and I know that he loves us so much that he wanted us(with my brother) to try that experienced. I really missed that day when I saw how much my father loves us. Finally I can show this movie again to him and tell him I LOVE him so much.
This trailer doesn't show how wonderful the real movie was. The trailer is great, and the movie is the most fantastic one I've ever seen. It's one of my all-time favorites. :)

I’ve been looking this movie over 10+ years and I finally found through Reddit,someone made page movie searching page and I just put the years I thought it was made and boy and dog so there came few other movies and just watched them and when I clicked the 3rd one it was this and I immediately got flashbacks and tears started to come when I recognize the dog and the boy in the forest 😭❤️ i thanked the guy and wanted to than again multiple times but everything disappeared my comment and the guy link and name😭 how I can thank him more now,I hope he saw I thanked him.

the scene where the rescue helcopter picks him up from the log makes no sense to me. That is probably the most dangerous way to rescue someone. Other than that, it was a good movie.
