It’s actually my buddies tractor but we have messed around with it a little on used oil a little we hope to put it in the field soon and try more alternative fuels If we do I’ll definitely film it
I feel like the slow speed of that era of John Deere could take advantage of that slow burn of heavy oiled fuels. I’m sure if your M could be made to function on 3/4 motor oil, a two cylinder would likely be able to match that performance, and perhaps excel under those conditions.
Excellent video Dr. RUST on John Deere A of 2 cylinders motor gas of Johnny Pop they nickname!
The first tractor I ever drove! ❤ The sound!
Awesome. Now that you have a low compression engine, any desire to start testing alternative fuels? Maybe 1/2 Gas, 1/4 Diesel, and 1/4 used oil?

You can definitely run 50/50 if you run d21 plugs just not on a super heavy load and you have to keep it hot the hotter the better

Yes Deere definitely works well with a slow burning fuel on the 2 cylinders
They sold tons of multi fuel tractors because of it
Got to start it on gas and get it hot then switch over to alternative fuel? Where is your 2nd fuel tank? I don’t see it.
Can't beat that lope. Blessings
Absolutely
That’s a Deere lover sound
