Why it sounded tinny, because it's NOT designed to drive headphones directly. The Ugreen CM403 has a LINE-level output for connection to an AUX-in or LINE-in jack. and thus it will have a lack of power and mismatched impedance with headphones.
I guess this is designed to be connected to an ampler as a source of sound, for headphones you need an headphones amplifier between this Bluetooth receiver and your headphones
I think was designed mostly for car audio or some powered speakers with AUX input such as an older 2.1 channel computer speakers. Planning to buy this to connect my Panasonic portable CD player (Discman) to my JBL Charge 5 since JBL removed the AUX input on Charge 5 unlike its predecessors. Might use mostly for that but I would be disappointed if I connect this to my TWS earbuds that supports AptX codec as it only supports SBC on TX mode.
I purchased one last summer (2022) was never able to make it work. At first I thought I was doing something wrong because I am not a specialist with that technology but after seeing your video I realized that it is the gadget that is not working. Too bad it is too late to return it now. Thanks for sharing that video.
If that's the case, I'll use it to connect my Panasonic portable CD player to my JBL Charge 5 as it doesn't have a headphone jack unlike its predecessors and JBL still uses SBC on its Bluetooth speakers.
@@TheEchelon Guess because it's a new model.. It doesn't have a model number on Lazada it just goes like this: "Ugreen Bluetooth Receiver 5.0 aptX LL 3.5mm AUX Jack Audio Wireless Adapter for Car PC Headphones Mic 3.5 Bluetooth 5.0 Receptor"
@@elfthree - Set ur ugreen to TX mode. - open the AirPods case, press and hold the button on the case till it flashes white Should be connected. If not: - double press the button on the AirPods
Has anyone tried it on a TV to transmit to EarPods, I have AirPods Pro & Powerbeats Pro which I connect to Apple TV to watch streaming services and wanted to be able to listen to the audio from DVD’s playing through my tv due to hearing loss.
Dude this isn't meant for headphones etc. its meant for cars and aeroplanes. just so you connect with Bluetooth and not wire. Its just a stop gap. I guess you got sucked into the marketing.
Hahahaha... you totally wrong, practically you don't understand what that bluetooth receiver/transmiter is made for, that is made for use line signal level and not to plug in your headphones! 😂
It does not have enough power to run the big drivers on the headphones, it's meant for connecting to cars or somthing that's amped
lol ya i realized that, now after all the comments
How about on ear phones?

good morning, Bravo- amazing vlog!have a good day,
Thank you! You too!
The one I got definitely has AAC for receive mode. Transmit mode is SBC only.

How about transmitter bluetooth ? Is it ok? Want to test it on PSP/GBA.
You should read its output power .

You should have gotten the U-Green 70403E instead.. That's what I ordered for my M50x.. Very clean and clear sound. 😊
Googling that gives no results...

Is it possible to connect two CM403s and create "wireless cable"? (One in TX mode, another one in RX mode)
