For the future, I'd recommend censoring the "highest 0/9" counter because if anyone's been paying attention to the previous Iron Man videos, the highest was 7. The highest at the start of this one was 3. Little interface spoiler there.

Honestly, they could make it so shooting non-aggro'd guards does punish you. Even if other guards get aggro'd, they could make it so you gain a lot of heat for shooting a guard who wasn't aggro'd as a "You started the fight" penalty.
Also, you said the devs are working on a combat detection system. You can use that to reduce cheese by firing a shot without hitting a guard. Have a check in place where if the first shot or melee to initiate aggro with guards doesn't actually hit anything, you still gain heat. So even if you take the reduced heat from firing a blank shot, you now have some heat and no disguise so if the guard you were planning to check is a spy, they now have the advantage of you being out of disguised and potentially vulnerable.
For Yu-Mi I recommend learning to use the Goo Pods. W3, E2, P3. P3 allows you to make EMP bubbles with the goo pods, meaning if they destroy it they will still have to deal with the slowdown. Also can be used against shields. But the big part of all of this is goo pods + W3 = easy shots (for the most part). W3 needs one extra second of patience than you assume but does 102 dmg headshot. A good way to use the goo pods is Run+Jump+Throw under. It is so good that I dont know why people arent using it. If people were to use it, mark my words that gadget would be nerfed in one way or another.
I also wonder if Yumi can make good use of Tripwires... her W3 benefits hard from tricking people into running into them and suddenly losing Cover just in time to eat a W3 full charge shot. Edit: Oh, another underappreciated thing about Goo is that it prevents its victims from being able to Jump, which thus further sabotages attempts to juke outta Headshots.
If I was doing this challenge I will go reverse order of what characters I am most likely to win with so you don't get late in a run and loose with a weak agent/ a agent you are not good at but a good try getting to yu-mi
I think he's aware of that, it sounds really similar to what Otzdarva did with his all perk streak. And I think playing the characters in the game's order is part of the challenge.
Yeah I'd go with weakest agents first too. I'd go with whatever lucky wins I can get in the first couple characters and rely on my best ones at the end.
You seem pretty experienced, is it possible to get a guide on NPC behavior? I'm still relatively new (only around 20 hours) and sometimes have a difficult time decyphering what behaviors are odd or abnormal for certain NPCs.
Loving your videos on the game! They're really helping learn the tells that get me caught and stuff like that. I'd really love to see a video on pathing and acting like an AI properly, since you catch so many people out of line I would never have even considered.
during the larcin game on silver reef where two vips were in that guard room, there are 2 vips on that map one with blond hair one with black hair u see them both on the lobby monitor and to my knowledge that is the only map with 2 different vips
I think Yu-Mi is the funnest Character in the Roster. I feel bad for her for how hated she is. :( I dunno if i'll ever be able to be not crap at this game no matter how hard I try, but Yu-Mi's my current Candidate for Top Main... though it's on my to-do list to Mastery 10 all the Characters so I can try to understand them more in and out and cause if I don't Mastery 10 all of them, i'll never hear the end of it from my Arceus Damned OCD.
People hate her because she sucks. Like, she's terrible. One of her expertise is something that Chavez and Red can do way better with more advantages. Her weapon is super bad, she's basically Ace with none of the advantages you have as playing Ace. After Hans' buff at the start of the heat system's launch, Yumi has becomes the worst in the game
some pretty exciting moments in this one. Seems like not all agents are created equal. On an unrelated note, all the talk of heat systems has got me wondering what the intended playstyle/experience is for this game. Is it supposed to be slow deduction style game with only a few fights when it becomes unavoidable, or is it supposed to be more aggressive with you actively hunting agents and the briefcase more being a way to force fights, or something in between. Cause there seems to be a fair few opinions on how the game is supposed to be played.
Its more about what you and your agent are better at. There's no "correct" way to play in this game. Me personally, I'm not great at gun fights and I enjoy being a pest so I play Larcin to steal and harass, using his stealth to get the upper hand in fights if I need to. Dowsey enjoys much faster style of play and aggression. Hence why some of his favorite agents is Cav, Hans, and Squire. No one style is actually superior than another and that's why we see even Dowsey taking on more careful approaches from time to time. Because sometimes careful and slow is better but sometimes fast and loud is better. The heat system is mostly there to prevent someone just running around shooting every NPC they see blindly to find the other agents and win off of pure aggression. The devs want fast and aggressive play in the game, but by being smart about it, not just because you opened fire on everything that moves. Cav is a great example. Using her expertise to sus out who is a spy so she can gun them down.
Yeah Jason’s comment is great. Cav is the perfect example of hunting down agents with their expertise. Right now it’s very efficient to just shoot any Guard or spy check any ai that seems sus and the devs don’t want that. They want you to be sure it’s a player before engaging. Outside of that, play the game as aggressively or passively as you prefer
@@DOWSEYplus Thanks for the heart. Glad to see you again playing something you truly enjoy. Came up with a pretty cool idea for the game. What if the final room where the briefcase is doesn't just require key cards but instead every cault terminal you hack gives you 1 level of access towards the vault. And a vault door is any door that is a Blue, Purple or Gold door that you cant unlock with a key card? Just makes sense to me
you dont suck Yu-Mi sucks, she is the worst character to pick in solo. Her damage is hella large, but her weapon being projectile based and not hit scan is what makes her have a terribly time, especially since every other character is hit scan.
