15 years ago I got to meet a WWII veteran who was a Normandy beach survivor. He told me the story of how many of our soldiers were killed by the Germans because of their strategic location, up in the foothills. He described how our soldiers were able to get into the foothills, go around and on top. From there they dropped grenades into the caves and flushed the Germans out. I was in awe of what he did, how he served and our soldiers bravery. Praying in agreement from Colorado 🙏 🛐

15 years ago I got to meet a WWII veteran who was a Normandy beach survivor. He told me the story of how many of our soldiers were killed by the Germans because of their strategic location, up in the foothills. He described how our soldiers were able to get into the foothills, go around and on top. From there they dropped grenades into the caves and flushed the Germans out.
I was in awe of what he did, how he served and our soldiers bravery.
